  Remember the name Brysen Wright

We could be talking about him a lot come draft season in, um, 2032. 33 D1 offers at 14 years old. I think I see why. Btw, JJ McCarthy will still only be 29.

#Vikings G Will Fries (tibia) is “cleared and ready to go” and it’s more so about “ramping him up football wise” in the offense, per Kevin O’Connell.

Kevin O’Connell noted that Christian Darrisaw won’t be a full participant but will be worked in slowly over the course of training camp. Darrisaw will participate in individual drills first, then get into team stuff.

Colts owner: Tick-tock for Anthony Richardson
Posted by: StickierBuns - 07-22-2025, 07:35 AM - Forum: The Longship - Replies (5)

https://www.nfl.com/news/colts-owner-car...witter_atn

They did the right thing for the position by bringing in Danny Dimes for a QB competition, but that's going to make Richardson wilt under the pressure because Dimes is a calm, talented big armed dude. I don't think AT has the fortitude to shine in this scenario but having said that, I think he's a bust regardless of what they try to do.

He and Will Levis are going to be available either next season or the one after. And if Caleb Williams shits the bed this season, there's going to be some nervous hens in the Chicago front office that might have to consider some things they weren't planning on considering. Oh the best laid plans.....

Somebody is going to get a hell of a DE

Can't see any path forward but a trade...he posted on his Instagram account that he's back in his home state of Florida:

Sources: The #Bengals and All-Pro DE Trey Hendrickson made attempts over the past few days to reengage on a new deal, but talks failed to gain serious momentum.

Both sides are dug in and frustrated. I’m told there are key differences between the two sides, and there’s currently no clear path to a resolution.

$200 to watch a game on TV

At $200 a pop this is not something most could afford to do very often. But damn, after seeing U2 at the Sphere a couple years ago, I'm a little intrigued about watching live football in a similar setting. There are currently locations in Dallas and LA and more coming. Anyone been to one? Click the video in the link.

1. Minnesota Vikings
The biggest mover across our entire rankings was the Minnesota front seven, which jumped 24 spots to No. 1 this year. The Vikings added both Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave to a defensive front that finished sixth in pressure rate and fourth in sacks last season.

Titan's QB Will Levis out for 2025, elects to get shoulder surgery
Posted by: StickierBuns - 07-21-2025, 09:05 AM - Forum: The Longship - Replies (6)

Has some pain in his throwing shoulder that won't go away. KOC University candidate in 2026?

Ian Rapoport
@RapSheet
#Titans QB Will Levis will undergo surgery on his throwing shoulder, sources say, ending his 2025 season. Surgery is July 29.

Levis has elected to have the procedure to ensure long-term health, based on medical opinions, one that should help him be ready for the 2026 season.

Notable names already reported to Camp
Posted by: Montana Tom - 07-21-2025, 07:55 AM - Forum: The Longship - Replies (11)

This answers a lot of questions already...some names I noted who have already reported to camp:

Christian Darrisaw
Will Fries
Rondale Moore

All back(?) from injuries.
All 4 QBs reported.
Looks like the rest are rookies and UDFAs.
