Looks like the rumors are the first 3 games. Anything else we can pile on McCarthy's plate besides his first game on the road against a NFCN rival on MNF? 

A little slow and tentative through the hole, but good vision with a degree of upside. Give him a year in the weight room (and puberty) and he'll be bigger than his QB. Anyway, good on ya, Panthers. 

...and in front of the fans. Off tomorrow, practice Wednesday and Thursday, Friday stadium tour and the game Saturday. Looks like although humid, won't be too bad temperature-wise at around 74.

Making the spot ahead of 4th year vet Ty Chandler was Zavier Scott.  Scott spent the 2024 season on the Vikings practice squad but is making some noise at camp.

Goessling adds that "the three preseason games could ultimately determine the third running back spot..." he gives the nod to Scott, as of now.

Another camp battle to keep an eye on.

Gloomy with a chance of thundering boos. 

Attempting to improve upon what was terrible accuracy and ball placement in his rookie seasons, Bears QB Fussy Fusserson throws into a net target, missing 4 outta 4. In his defense, the net had to be AT LEAST 10 yards away. 

For whatever reason, I always forget about Vikings.com. But their highlights are so much better than the fan stuff that gets thrown around on the internet. 

Not gonna lie, though. These kids SUCK at the griddy.

They did some one on one battling at camp yesterday and there's video out there and I'll try and find it. But Fries is an ass kicking machine. He completely stymied Allen in one-on-ones. There was also the first fight at camp and Fries was right in the middle of it, as was Tyler Batty, Asamoah, Fries and also JJ McCarthy lol. I guess somebody popped Aaron Jones hard to the ground and that started it. The guys are sick of hitting on each other, they'll be ready for preseason game 1.

Intensity turns up a notch
"This was the fourth practice in full pads and also, without question, the most physical and intense practice of training camp thus far. It got chippy in a way we hadn't seen up to this point. In an early 11-on-11 period, Harrison Phillips threw Walter Rouse to the ground. Jordan Mason, who continues to look really impressive in camp, trucked several defenders on a run up the middle, which led rookie Donovan Jackson to let out a primal scream afterwards.

Later in practice, it went up another level when linebacker Brian Asamoah II popped Aaron Jones after a play. Asamoah went to offer Jones a hand, but guard Will Fries took exception to the initial hit and shoved Asamoah pretty hard. In return, Asamoah threw a punch at Fries. On the very next play, rookie Tyler Batty got through the line of scrimmage untouched and leveled Jones in the backfield. That set things off again. McCarthy got in the mix with a bit of a shove on Batty, and players from both the offense and defense came together and jawed at each other."
