Being Fanboy #1 here on the board, I'm not willing to go to MahomesTown with a comparison, but he's got some similar attributes. I'd say more Josh Allen lite. This kid is going to get overdrafted. Buzz already he's rising. Interesting background, big time prospect coming out of high school. Talented kid and a good leader. He's the reason JJ McCarthy didn't go to Ohio State, where he wanted. The Buckeyes promised JJM that they wouldn't sign another QB recruit and then they went and signed McCord. JJ didn't like that they lied, he went to Michigan and the rest is history.

Go figure...

Eagles edge rusher Josh Sweat said he and his teammates realized early on that they had the Chiefs’ offensive line’s number.

JMO, but Buffalo was better than KC this year....and maybe last year as well. And a healthy Detroit would have taken Philly and smoked KC in the Super Bowl. What could have been for those two fanbases. Now they'll have to grind their way back this season and crazy crap can happen in the NFL, no guarantees. The Chiefs looked a little tired to me and a bit soft. Hard to keep that fire going each year as they've been so successful. As much as Nick Sirianni is a big doofus, you can't argue with his success.

Turns out I have not heard of a single song sung tonight at the 1/2 time performance. My daughter (16) said several were on her running track.
