People will complain anyway, whether it does any good or not.

But yeah, plenty of reasons to vote. My adult kids were organizing door knocking days to help GOTV

Served in Vietnam. Feel I earned the right to complain whether I vote or not. Feel like I fought so all americans have that right. Having said all that, I'm heading out to vote in a few minutes. God Bless America and thanks for the reminder to vote.

Every citizen in this country has the right to complain. I don’t care if they can’t vote due to criminal record or don’t vote because they don’t like any of the candidates. In some states it’s pointless. Other times someone doesn’t know enough about candidates and decides not to. Others don’t vote as a form of protest. These are all reasons people have given me and I respect their decisions. Voting rights are vital and that includes the right to abstain. My two cents.

We would benefit from a lot of under-informed voters not voting.

I voted early...three weeks ago. This state has a voting website at the Secretary of State website that confirms that your vote-by-mail (or in person drop off, like I did) has in fact been received. Statewide, 64% of requested vote by mail were returned early. This county, slightly higher at 66.6% returned early.

I like getting my ballot by mail, not so much for the top of the ballot but to research down ballot races and particularly, the referendums. A lot of them are worded so that a yes is really a no, and vice-versa.

Late tonight is going to be a fascinating exercise in democracy. Tomorrow is going to be wild as many of the contested results are going to scream "rigged".

Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.

I see a rigged system that no longer functions correctly.

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning

People sleep peacably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
