This Week in VikeFans — Oct 20–Oct 26, 2026

Well, well, well. Here we are, folks, another week of wonderful, wildly winning Vikings volleyball. Wait, wrong sport. Let's recalibrate: another week of wonderful, wildly winning Vikings in Week 7, and honestly, at this point Kevin O'Connell's offense is operating with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker who also happens to be a Minnesota sports fan (so, a tortured Swiss watchmaker).

Before we dive into the delightful detritus of forum life, let's tip our collective purple caps to the injury report. Mason, Hockenson, Darrisaw, and Addison are all expected to return to practice, which means our roster is getting healthier faster than a hypochondriac at a homeopathic convention. The reinforcements are returning, people.

VikeFans Games Update

In our Survivor Pool, we're down to 10 contestants still breathing, though one unlucky soul is teetering on the brink after the LA Rams reminded us all why trap games exist (and cost five players their perfect records in the process). RS_Express was eliminated in Week 6, proving that even the most devoted fans can't escape the cruel calculus of Vegas.

Test Your Conviction has Vikesrock sitting pretty with 40 points, followed by RS_Express at 37 and Browner47 at 36. These brave prognosticators are basically playing Vikings roulette with their reputations.

Meanwhile, in Pick'Em land, Buddah is absolutely crushing it with 53 correct picks out of 93 attempts. Vikesrock and wiviking are fighting tooth and nail in second place, while VinceGlortho claimed Week 7's victory with a solid 7 of 14.

Forum Awards Corner: Our Most Liked Reply goes to Vanguard83 for channeling the collective wisdom of a fanbase desperate for expanded rosters and double byes. Cricket absolutely dominated this week, sweeping Most Liked Original Post, Most Liked Poster, and Most Prolific Poster, basically the forum equivalent of a Vikings defensive line penetrating the backfield. Meanwhile, greediron proved that kindness karma is real with 567 likes distributed to worthy causes.

The Game Day thread "Corral the Colts" generated 326 replies of pure, unfiltered purple passion.

Same time next week, VikeFans faithful. Keep the faith, keep the forum fires burning, and remember: the bye week giveth, and sometimes the bye week actually helps your roster.
