Vikings ~ 1st Team Since the 1991 Bills....
I was just checking into this! I was curious on how many times a team had a POW so far. There's 21 different teams that have had one.
We're at the top with 4. There's 6 teams with 2, all others have 1.
The Vikings are the first team since the 1991 Buffalo Bills to secure a player of the week award in four of the first five weeks of a season:

Another accomplishment through 5 games:
The Vikings defense has held opposing QBs to an NFL-low 62.9 passer rating, the lowest mark through five games since Buffalo recorded a 60.7 opponent passer rating in 2021. https://t.co/LUJVBGZoHd

10/0 counting last season
They just held the Saints to 142 yards of total offense
They've allowed just 12.8 pts/game season-to-date

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!ย
The Bills went to the Super Bowl in 1991 by the wayโฆ. https://t.co/tH0pOdq920

Iโm pretty sure the Earth would implode if the Vikings and Bills ever met in the Super Bowl. pic.twitter.com/9gqxrcQvY0

LOL ~ It's a good thing that ties are not allowed in play-offs or the Super Bowl.

I've said for awhile now that it's shaping up for this to happen, but in typical Vikings and Bills fashion, neither team can hold up its end of the bargain and make it to the Superbowl. Maybe this year...๐ค
I'd prefer the Vikings' defensive stats mirror the '95 Bears defense, the '14 Seahawks defense, and/or the '01 Ravens defense. They all won the Superbowl with incredibly dominating defenses.
As we all know, the Bills, like the Vikings have had good defenses, but still never won anything, so can we find stats that compare us to those three teams instead? ๐คช
