Reid On The QB Class

If Arch Manning truly is an early Day 2 prospect, this might be the guy for KOC in Minnesota.

To a point you made earlier, it sure smells like this could be an overhyped class of QBs. Lots of average to above average types but where is the consensus #1? Obviously, a few of these guys are going to succeed in the NFL, but which ones?

Honestly, if you discount the position, I’m not sure there’s a guy worth going in the first. Maybe that’s too pessimistic, but I just don’t see it.

Lots of ball left to play, but it sure looks like a day2 guy at the earliest for MN...

Which means they'll need an immediate qb for starters next season if K1 doesnt pan out

This franchise is so damn frustrating when it comes to qb's.

On the Day 2 QB stuff-- plenty have panned out, just not here. Maybe Teasley is the guy to find one 🙏. My confidence in KO's ability to pick one has gone down each year since he's been here sadly. Though my confidence in him as a head coach remains high.

Surely there's SOMEONE in college with lots of starts under their belt who could step in early if needed. Heck the kid for the Bucs last night played better than any QB we've had in years.

While I don't disagree that Manning may be slipping, but there is no way in hell, just by name only, that he falls below even 15. I think regardless there will be at least 4 QB's selected in the top 15.

Yep, its a long way off, plenty of time for GMs to fall in love with 'their guy'. I would be shocked if there aren't 3 first round QBs taken. Now will that flesh out to be warranted in the long term, who knows.
