Vikings' Defense Ranked #6 by USA Today
Is number 6 fair, too high, or too low for the Vikings defense? https://t.co/tnuZ0MJQEo pic.twitter.com/RpT5TnSVJJ

LIVE WELL ~ LOVE MUCH ~ LAUGH OFTEN
Considering all the changes in the lineup, I’m good with 6.
But, they’ll finish higher than that.

I hope they stay somewhere in that top 10…especially with youngens potentially taking so many snaps this year.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Yeah, we’re adjusting from having hitman to not having him and the brains that came with him. I’m cool with top 10.
we lost 2 veteran DTs, and an HOF S.... there is going to be a learning curve. We will still have a good D, but I think there will be more mistakes that teams will take advantage of for game changing plays.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I think its going to be a work in progress for a few games then catch steam....agree with you here. Need the offense to pick up the slack early for a change.

I think there's also less redundancy for injuries in some regards (more in others). Like if Van Ginkle or Turner misses some time, I think it's a big question mark on if the backups can provide quality support. If Mettelus goes down for a period, what happens then? I trust that the rookies will get there some day, but if you need someone to play in the hyper versatile Flores defense, will they be able to do it this year, or does the defense lose some of it's edge waiting for them to grow into their roles?
But we also have Cash, Wilson, Gink, Turner, Mettelus and the DBs with another year in the Flores system. I feel that the more time these guys spend together, the more epic this defense will get.
I think losing Harrison Smith will hurt MUCH more than we think.

I agree, not near the athlete he was but still gets em lined up right at the right time.
I'm still not convinced he wont be back...I put it at 30/70 though, not great odds.
If he is coming back? It'll be any day now with just 2 weeks till GB.
