Of the 52 weeks in a year, how many are truly without football any longer?

Maybe 6 or7? If'n u include draft, OTA's, pre-draft combines...

The pods will be ecstatic. They've been scraping the bottom of the barrel for new material since mini-camp ended.

Not as many as there used to be, that's for sure, and we're nearing the end of the longest part of it. There are only a couple weeks between the Super Bowl and the combine, couple weeks between the combine and free agency, about four weeks between free agency and the draft, but free agency news fills up much of that time. Then a couple weeks between the draft and OTAs. The time between minicamps and training camp is now the longest part of the offseason...nearly two months. What's worse is basketball's over, hockey's over and baseball is a month away from being interesting. It's brutal for a sports fan who has no interest in that human foosball game the rest of the world seems interested in.

18 game season will impact that too...Imagine if they strike a deal with the players union for 2 bye weeks? That'll put the SB about Valentines Day?

A week after SB will be Indy? 😁

Most sane people take a vacation; but not us huh?
