p.s. Megan Fox can call me 'Boomer' anytime, or anything else she'd like to for that matter. Just call. ;)
I agree, as long as it's pre "femm-bot" Megan. She's looked like a whacko sci-fi character for years, now.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

Isn't that how Florio got his start? Or how about insiders who's only inside qualification is living inside their mother's basement?
It's like the lottery for these guys. Odds are extremely low anything of value will come of it. But they have to take a shot.
Is the Keys issue connected to Flores somehow? Maybe. But I think people are just filling in the blanks with endless speculation to try to explain why we don't have an answer yet. But why would we? Interviews take time. And like most of these things, the simplest explanation, using the fewest assumptions, is usually the most likely to be correct. Occam's Razor.
I suspect we'll come to the end of it and it will all make sense and there will be no big surprise or controversy. He'll either get a head coach job, or if he moves laterally, it will be because that team offered him more money than the Vikings, which might be surprising considering the Vikings "very aggressive" offer. But ya never know I guess.

Has this so called "very aggressive offer" ever been made public. I mean maybe it has never even been offered and is just rumor. Flores is holding the Viking hostage until he decides what is best for him. So if he decides to move on at some point what happens if all of the qualified candidates for DC are now gone. It's time for either Flores to move on or the Vikings to move on.

It's not been made public because it would be imprudent to do so. What's more, coaches salaries are never made public (outside of a handful of well paid "celebrity" coaches). But the Vikings are obviously not sitting on their hands waiting for the Flores decision with no contingencies in place.

I just hope the timing works out to the Vikings favor...
For example, if BFlo leaves? I suspect their first choice to backfill would be Daronte Jones. But he's already interviewed (interviewing?) with Dallas and I think The Jets for DC.
If not Jones? I am going to pimp for Raheem Morris...He was DC for the Rams when they won their SB and guess who he was on that same staff with?
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

does he come with a fully functional Aaron Donald? Im pretty sure thats like a cheat code for running an NFL defense.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Hey, it never hurts to have generational talent in their prime on the field!
But I cant hold it against the guy. Plus he's had enough success around the league where he's earned a shot at DC somewhere again imo.

I would be more concerned that we have the players to fit what he would want to do. assuming we get the QB situation figured out, I really dont want to wait 2 more years for us to be able to get the players set on D to fit a new scheme.

You don't know what the Vikings are doing while waiting for Flores to make up his fucking mind. Say he drags this out several weeks all the while Daronte Jones gets a coordinator job, Gannon gets a DC job, Morris gets a DC job and then all of a sudden Flores gets a DC job or head coach job. Looks like in that scenario the Vikings have to pick through left overs. Tell Flores he has until a certain time to take his "very aggressive offer" or the team is moving on. Oh and waiting with no contingencies in place, is that what they did when they thought Daniel Jones was going to remain instead of bolting for the Colts. The Vikings had to settle for fucking Sam Howell.
Google coaches salaries and you can find out what anybody's salaries are.

No coach will get the same results from this group of defensive players. Flores leaving will increasae the odds of GM and HC getting fired next year. They are already on the hot seat for their QB decisions.

Yah, BFlo worked magic with that group - especially the backfield this year.
I'm not convinced KOC is on the same thin ice KAM is, least not yet.

Those are only estimates. Go ahead, Google Brian Flores's salary.
