Vikings ZERO Pro Bowlers
Kwesi accomplishments keep racking up.
Pro-bowl is a joke. Van Ginkel is one of the best edge/coverage LBs in the game. Cash and Wilson are stud LBs. Redmond has been elite. Our whole D is playing so well, but without the wins, most fans just buy the narrative and think everything is awful.

A dubious distinction we share with only the Jets and Saints.
...oh, and that Kyle Hamilton guy made it again.
The Assassin should have been there, maybe Gink. But I dont know what % of time Gink missed?
Not sure anyone else really?
Ending the year on a down-note for me. Most disappointed in both lines this year and not having a handle on the QB position.
Best laid plans...
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Good luck finding a healthy one. Vikings had 7 Pro Bowlers last year.
Been 11 years since the Vikings don’t have a single Pro Bowl selection.
This is just the third team in franchise history without a Pro Bowl player, joining 2014 and 1983.
It’s bad company for this disappointing Vikings season that began with one of the NFL’s most expensive rosters — with over $300 million in cash spending — and a mantra that more was required to achieve this regime’s first playoff victory.
Coaches and players stumped for candidates such as defensive tackle Jalen Redmond and kicker Will Reichard, who finished third among NFC kickers in fan voting (the only results that are made public). But Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey got the nod over Reichard, who has made 27 of 29 field goals this year.
Reichard, Redmond and other Vikings are likely alternates, which fullback C.J. Ham has been every year behind the 49ers’ Kyle Juszczyk, who made another Pro Bowl this season.
For receiver Justin Jefferson, this is just the second time in his six-year career that he has missed the cut. A star-studded, 28th-ranked Vikings offense is still trying to get him over the 1,000-yard mark.
He is 83 yards shy entering Thursday’s Christmas Day kickoff against the Detroit Lions. His sixth consecutive 1,000-yard season would be a consolation prize, of sorts, for Jefferson.
The Vikings’ star power on defense — edge rushers Jonathan Greenard and Andrew Van Ginkel, among them — dealt with injuries that undercut their seasons. Cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. did not have an interception until this past game against the Giants.
Linebacker Eric Wilson deserved some attention with a team-leading 16 tackles for losses and 6½ sacks, but only two inside linebackers make each Pro Bowl roster. This year, the NFC representatives are the Lions’ Jack Campbell and the Eagles’ Zack Baun.

Does anybody honestly give a shit? Outside of winning a Super Bowl, this is like an actor being nominated for an Academy Award. Win THE fucking game. Nothing else matters.

I see this as an indicator.. the organization is trending in the wrong direction. The money they spent on oline and dline didnt produce the results. Building a team via free agency is short term. Kewsi gambled and lost.
I thought they stopped playing the Pro Bowl because it turned into a joke. I stopped paying attention years ago TBH so what do I know.
I'm not big into beauty contest stuff anyway. Winning a title would be 1000x more fun than having a dozen pro bowlers on yet another of the one and done or no playoff squads which are pretty much the norm here for the last 25 years.

Yeah. I don't place much stock into the Pro Bowl selections. I doubt the Wilfs do either but in looking at this board, others, and in talking to friends-- enthusiasm for the Vikes is in the gutter and that apathy will start to hit the books soon if it hasn't already. I don't know if the Vikings need some kind of splash move in the offseason or if time will pass and everyone will be fired up again next August, but it's a drag seeing the state of the fandom right now. At least Kirk was a lightning rod haha. McCarthy is like the kid on the soccer team who try as he might, just can't score a goal. Everyone is rooting for him but mostly it's just been sad.
They went all in on spending for the roster, for the lines and the signings didn't hit (i.e. Allen etc.) or hit big (Fries) ala 2024
McCarthy was/is green and fragile as glass till he proves otherwise
Injuries smite the team in a biblical fashion
I'd say those are 96% of the reason we're not playing for anything the next two weeks
I expect a QB signing and some significant roster re-tooling into 26. Probably some coaching staff pruning too.
Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to the front office/personnel staff.
