Hate to be an eeyore, but I see most likely 1 win if they keep playing like they have. Top 12 could turn into a top 6 pick.
Anyone got the stomach for Moore or Mendoza and a big re-do?
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Odds the Vikings draft a first round QB is probably 5% or less. Only way that happens would be if KAM gets canned and the new guy falls in love with someone in the draft. I do not see the current regime taking another swing at young QB so soon. If they decide to move on from JJM and KAM keeps his job, it'll be "bringing in a vet for competition" for sure.
Hard to even get excited about the draft with Kwesi in there

I don't think it will happen, but I have to admit, yesterday I actually looked at the top ranked QBs for 2026. I felt so dirty afterwards. Like a 12-year-old boy spying on his big sister's friends.

Okay, so which one is the best looking? ;)

None of them unfortunately. Fernando Mendoza is probably the best, but he will go to some quarterback needy team early then after that you have Dante Moore, who it's widely reported will return to Oregon. Ty Simpson's play has dropped off and you see a lot of mixed opinions on him.
If our front office stays in tact, it's hard to imagine them using another high draft pick on a quarterback, at least not this year. Much more likely they trade for a veteran (Mac Jones?) and let them compete with McCarthy in 2026. I think no matter what happens this year, JJ has at least one more season on the roster.

I agree -- JJM will be on the roster in 26 and will most likely be in a compete situation with a vet
Question is will that vet be Wentz? Or someone else?

Mac Jones would make sense. He still has a year left on his contract in SF, so we'd have to trade for him, but it probably would only cost a 3rd round pick and we'll have some comp picks to play with. I'll throw out a few other names of veteran quarterbacks who might be looking at fresh starts in 2026; Kyle Murray, Tua Tagoveiloa, and Trevor Lawrence. Not sure how that fit would be in a KOC offense, but names to watch

If they trade a draft pick for Mac freakin' Jones, I'm turning in my fan card.

This is where we are at as a franchise, constant purgatory
"MUCH" more is required.

Lets add Richardson to that list and check-back in April...

I wasn't talking about QBs

Lol ahh gotcha. I kind of skimmed over it and thought you meant quarterbacks

You read my mind. I think they will take a look at him.
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
A third round pick for Mac Jones would be nuts but for a fifth or sixth round pick yeah he makes some sense. Man I really hope JJM can beat anyone of that tier out next season though.
Why would they bring in another 50% completion guy like Richardson and call it a competition? There are a few veterans out there that may be decent options. JJ will still be here next year and would benefit from having a veteran to compete against.

Wow 12, that pick could be worth a 3rd, two 5ths, and a 7th.
Kwesi math 101. You know what would really be crazy? Trading the pick to a division rival like the Lions, for nothing and dropping down to pick oh, say...32. Like, what idiot would ever do something like that?
Oh wait, nevermind...
