Bears @ Vikings
There's a bizarro fact in the NFL that I always found incredibly hard to believe. Kirk Cousins worst statistical season as an NFL starting QB was better than the best ever season by any Bears QB in their 106 year history.
That may change this year, as Caleb Williams is on track to be the first Bears QB to throw for over 4,000 yards.

The first half was which QB sucked the least. They both sucked, but Caleb sucked less than JJ. I did not anticipate JJ's inaccuracy.

Does Flores have a 3rd down stop in his call sheet?
This team is painful to watch. Can't convert on 3rd downs, can't stop the other team on 3rd downs. Boo birds are out. I wonder if Mark and Zygi are taking notice or if they are too distracted planning the teams celebration of albino trans squirrel month?

It is what it is. The roller coaster of a qb playing his 5th game is the reality we are faced with. Some hesitation, some throws sailing, it is how it is. At least there was some more run game. But the defense could get gassed now
You nailed it. it’s true it’s very frustrating to watch but we need to keep it in context.
Young QB, dropped balls, poor accuracy and a defense that’s been on the field too long is not helping.
We need to stick with JJ no matter how frustrating it is. Not sure if the injury is a contributing factor for the poor passes but it does not look like JJ
Did DT just get a sack? He is having a good game
As poorly as the Vikings have played all day, it's incredible that its only a one score game here in the 4th quarter
OMG ahead by 1 point with 50 seconds left. I knew when they kicked off the Vikings would give up chunk plays for a possible winning field goal. It's just the fucking Viking way. Rip the joy right out of you by getting a go ahead score only to lose it with under a minute to go.
I feel bad for the team and coaches. With all that happened (and that was not a pretty game) they stuck with it finally get the go ahead score only to commit the one mistake they were not supposed to. There is so much to fix and blame around this game but not is more frustrating than the yardage at the last min after the go ahead score.
Would it have been better kicking out of bounds? Ugh!

...um, he's ranked third or so in most categories, so I'm curious what you're on about.
He has the highest career QB rating of all our QBs, 2nd in TDs, 3rd in passing yards...
...so, yeah, curious about that point of view...?!
Can you really compare QB stats from 1970s to now? Cousins had 5/6 years with very good talent and only one playoff victory.
It's subjective, but I am giving more credit for the ones that got us to a SB or is in the HOF then the ones that got us to the NFCC. Then the rest I will just put at 9 and 10.
1. Fran Tarkenton (SB)
2. Joe Kapp (SB)
3. Warren Moon (HOF)
4. Bret Favre (HOF, NFCC)
5. Daunte Culpepper (NFCC)
6. Wade Wilson (NFCC)
7. Randall Cunningham (NFCC)
8. Case Keenum (NFCC)
9 &10. Tommy Kramer, Brad Johnson, Rich Gannon, Jeff George, Bob Lee, Sam Bradford, Sam Darnold, Teddy Bridgewater, Kirk Cousins, Tarvaris Jackson, Jim McMahon

How many critical drops can one team have in a game? My goodness!
One to many it turns out.
There's always next century...

Hahaha! Skol for life baby!
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
The first interception before the end of the 1st half hurt because they were already in field goal range. 1st and 10 from the 30 with about 41 seconds left.

...you do realize that, as an active player, Kirko can't be compared to those that are in there, because he literally cannot be eligible, yet?
Not just "subjective", but ridiculous.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

There is no doubt he will not even be nominated for the HOF and highly likely he will not even win another playoff game. He had 6 years with very good talent. He is just an average QB. He is not better than Tommy Kramer, Brad Johnson, Jeff George, Jim McMahon. or Rich Gannon who played in a Superbowl.

When real tangibles slap your "subjective" (laughably slanted) considerations around, it'll keep being reality > your obvious Kirko issues.
You talk about the talent, which is fair...as is a hateful head coach, multiple consecutive years with defenses rated in the 30s, an interior o-line rated near those defenses, and an unfortunate injury when he was in the top 2 in the NFL in TDs/Yards.
That's not "average", and claiming otherwise is swimming in a lake of bulls**t.
