I got no doubt. Him and Harrison are the cogs that make the D work.

I wonder if we took any calls from teams about Dallas Turner before the trade deadline? Barring catastrophic injury, he's never going to play over Greenard and Gink, soooo is there really a point to keeping him is the question? Two years left on his deal, maybe three if we pick up his 5th year option. I don't know. I'm disappointed he didn't make more of an impact filling in for Gink.

You make an assumption that both Greenard and Gink are going to stay healthy, uninjured for the foreseeable future seasons?
That's a premature speculation.

That's why I said, "barring catastrophic injury." If all things are equal, I can't see Turner overtaking one of them in the next two to three seasons before his contract expires.

He's played a year an a half, and he's super young.

Nobody is trading their draft picks after a year and a half unless they're major douche canoes or too dumb to function, much less a first rounder.

Trade him in year 4, sure.

Regarding injuries, it doesn't have to be a catastrophic injury for a quality backup to have value.  Players get injured all the time.  Sometimes for a drive, sometimes for 4-6 weeks, sometimes season or career ending.

Gink is so instinctive. He made a play against the Lions where he rushed off right tackle, then paused and jumped back in the middle passing lane and tipped a Goff pass. If he didn't tip it, he sure influenced its direction. He just does stuff like that all the time.

Ah...here is is...
