Bad Kirk Sighting in Atlanta
Cousins started for an injured Penix yesterday at home against a terrible Miami team and the Falcons looked like dogwater.
"If the Atlanta Falcons were looking for verification that they made the right move in switching from Kirk Cousins to Michael Penix Jr., they found it Sunday. If the Falcons were looking for anything approaching optimism on the rest of the season, it was nowhere to be seen in Atlanta’s 34-10 loss to the not-so-hapless Miami Dolphins..."

want nothing to do with the drama, we have 2 kids in house and a season that is looking like its not going to be our year regardless of who is QB. we need to stay the course, get JJM in there and see what he's got, if he cant go its Brosmer time. I am tired of the carosel of washed starters and veteran journeymen that put up just enough wins to consistently draft in the middle 1/3 of the draft, but never get us any closer to really being the team we want/need.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I read this morning that he has asked the falcons for a trade.
First off yeah, no team is trading for Kirk.
But secondly, he's such a funny case. It's easy to say, ah he played so bad last week because he's rusty, he was missing weapons, unfamiliar, etc etc.
But since it's Kirk there's also part of me that thinks, dude knew he had one showcase game if he wanted to get traded and he melted.
I for one do not miss having these constant dueling thoughts and narratives around our QB. Good luck to Kirk but, PASS.
