Wow. Beagles are gonna be pissed
Okay, I was expecting a regular beatdown of the Gmen by the Beagles.
I am a convert. Jaxson Dart showed such poise. Cam Skattebo is a freakin' bulldozer, a battering ram.
Giants defense stuffed Hurts over and over.
I was shocked.
Helluva game...and preview to our next game against Philly and crew.
They have a full ten days to recover. We have 14 days, not counting jet lag.
Jaxson Dart is more fluid than Carson Wentz, unflappable frat boy. I have to say it.
Is this JJM's coming out party? Or a flameout? He will have had to have grown a ton in the previous four weeks.
Ha! Your typical (never bet on) divisional game
BTW, I'd have much rather seen Philly win
Gmen DL is legit and it got better this year with Carter
Ask me about Dart post next season, these rook qb's are as hard to read as War & Peace
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Giants got two good ones in Skattebo and Dart. Their top two WRs are damn good too. If I am a Giants fan I am liking the future.
If I'm the Eagles?
I come in here and get better offensively with a heavy dose of SB...They gotta get back to the basics and I think they will.

Agreed. If I was the Eagles, I’d be expecting to try to be physical and win the game by running the ball. Make Minnesota prove that it can stop you. If they have to move the ball 3 yards a rush, 3 times, and then a tush push, and hoping for Saquon to break a big one, I would expect them to do that.

Sirriani just needs to play the Falcons tape daily the next 9 days..To our defense, it will help the Vikings to have Cashman back
Hurts hasn't been the same the last few weeks. Hopefully the Vikings arent that "get better" game they're looking for.

You're already starting to see some infighting and second guessing on that Philly team. The Eagles will either pull their shit together in time for us....or they won't. Not saying anything everyone doesn't already know, but in the pre-Chiefs era, it wasn't unusual for Super Bowl championship teams to be out of sync the following year and not even make the playoffs. Winning 14 games and then three straight in the postseason requires a LOT of luck on the injury front. That kind of luck rarely extends to the following season.
I think the Eagles will be a much better team at some point, but when that happens is anyone's guess. Of course we have problems of our own, leading the league in penalties, all the injuries and uncertainty at QB. Early line is Eagles -3, which sounds about right. But I doubt they're looking forward to seeing the Vikings in the Bank after two losses.

They have been trying to figure that out all year. They have had a good half, a good quarter, but long periods of terrible offense. If they run Barkely, the pass game goes into a funk. It is really weird. Maybe DCs have figured out their offense.
As to Dart, he was horrible last week. Looked good the week prior. So I will withhold my opinion on him.
Also can't forget the Eagles lost 7 starters in the offseason, not including Isaiah Rodgers who was a part-time starter. That's a third of their roster.
It was a good game. Of course Dart is more fluid than Wentz, he is 10 years younger. Good to see the Eagles discombobulated

Dart was much more poised and confident than McCarthy has been. I think JJ can get there, but I'm worried about his durability.
I also think Dart will have health issues if he continues to play the way he did last night.

This ^. Same with the Chiefs. I think they are a victim of their successes, its hard to keep a team motivated to grind each new season for excellence. And make no mistake, you very much do have to GRIND out wins. Parity is rife in the NFL, so any team is capable really of beating you if you aren't on top of it.
See the play with Chris Jones just standing there watching the TD run by Lawrence. Any amount of effort and he could have stopped the run.

Well, there was no purple on the field, so........
