Ouch.

He's also taken 12 sacks in 3 games and they are 1-2. I don't think Sticky said he's going to bust, but he did say New England isn't supporting him well with the OL they have in front of him, the skill guys surrounding him, and having him need to learn a new offense in his second season.
I have zero problem with anyone calling me out, I welcome it. Especially when their arguments are easily refuted.
What I take issue with is when someone doesn’t have the balls to call me out by name, rather by innuendo.
So, enjoy the two grape nuts swinging between your legs.
:D
PS. Lift with your knees when you move the goalposts!

What would you like me to admit to be wrong about. Specifically. Should I bag this RB draft class after 3 weeks? Really? Do you stand in front of the microwave and scream “HURRY UP!” I thought you were at least smarter than THAT.
Was it about dipping into this RB class because we’d likely have a need based on RB1 being 30 and having one complete season under his belt? And RB2 coming off an injury his first year getting starting reps?
Well, don’t know if you noticed but Jones is already on IR so I’d say that was a pretty sold call. And again, part of that whole argument was we were going to run a lot more than in the past, which everyone other than MB disagreed with.
How’s that one working for ya?
Returns are early, but I’m liking my call on Isiah Rodgers. You? I think BFlo and I were definitely on to something, no?
And yes, I do have a healthy self respect. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable. Maybe your self esteem needs some TLC. I do love me some me. Wanna see me do some crunches in the driveway? :D
Maybe go cool off in the pool. Be sure to wear a hat.

Hey what about Bill? :P
Croskey-Merritt fits the bill as Washington's exciting new RB
In case anyone didn't know by the time the Washington Commanders kicked off their second preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, one of their newest weapons, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, likes to go by "Bill."
It's a nickname, given to him as a kid because he looked like the cartoon character, Little Bill, Commanders fans have been familiar with since he was drafted in the seventh round out of Arizona. His family thinks it's funny, but fans have come to love it because of how his quickness, burst and decision-making have stood out in camp.
Now, the rest of the NFL has gotten a look at "Bill" and what he can do for Washington's offense. Croskey-Merritt started his professional career with about as much obscurity as possible between being one of the last picks in the 2024 draft and not having played in a meaningful game in almost a year. With just a few days before the final roster cuts, he's one of the most hyped players on the roster.
And here's the thing: the excitement surrounding Croskey-Merritt isn't slowing down.
"It was a blessing to be able to be in that position," Croskey-Merritt said after the Bengals game.

Croskey-Merritt had 46 yards on 11 carries during the Monday Night Football preseason game with his second carry resulting in a 27-yard touchdown that put the Commanders up 14-7. Croskey-Merritt followed blocks by Andre Wylie and Chris Paul on the edge, and the only contact he received came when he had already crossed the goal line.
The play drew cheers from Croskey-Merritt's teammates, but they had already seen plays like that from the rookie in practice. They have praised his vision and ability to get upfield with one cut -- both traits that were part of his success at Arizona, New Mexico and Alabama State. He rushed for 2,549 yards and 31 touchdowns during his college career, including a 1,190-yard and 17-touchdown campaign with New Mexico in 2023.
Croskey-Merritt's 78 total yards against the Patriots and Bengals don't stand out on the box score, but it's how he's gotten those yards that has the coaching staff excited about his future. He avoided disaster on his first carry against the Patriots, an outside run to the right, by breaking a tackle in the backfield and getting back to the line of scrimmage rather than taking a five-yard loss. Later in the game, he cut behind a block from Josh Conerly Jr. and slipped through a running lane that resulted in a 10-yard gain.
Though the Commanders lost to the Patriots, 48-18, head coach Dan Quinn praised Croskey-Merritt as one of the few bright spots on offense.
"I like the skills that we're seeing from Bill," Quinn said. "And I'm encouraged by what I've seen so far. I know he was amped and ready to go for tonight, but he makes plays; he's got quickness. I love the ball security that he had tonight. Those are important things that you can't overlook."

Definitely loved seeing the Commodes trade away RB1 for my guy, Bill. Quinn just needs to figure out JCM is lead dog material. Washington is a hot mess at the moment.

To describe someone who is a "tool," you can use terms like pawn, puppet, stooge, flunky, lackey, or dupe to emphasize their manipulation by others, or words like narcissist, jerk, or sucker to highlight their unpleasant or selfish traits
I don't always agree with Barr, but I do here in that it's way too early to judge this running back group and I think the Vikings certainly would have been justified in drafting one early. My push pre draft was to take either a lineman on either side of the ball to turn a weakness into a strength and complete the overhaul, or you take a weapon on offense because you could make a case for one and they affect games more than a safety would (for example). That played out in having to scramble before the season started where we eventually HAD TO trade for Thielen.
Either knock it off, all of you, or I will kick you. Justin, making a thread to call another member out is bad form. But you know that. Everyone else, sometimes it is best to ignore and let the silliness fall off the page.

It’s just a lack of context. The top 4 rushing leaders in the NFL right now are Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, Travis Etienne and Derrick Henry.
Through 9 healthy games as a rookie, Taylor averaged 42 rushing yards per game.
Through 9 healthy games as a rookie, Cook averaged 18 rushing yards per game.
Through 9 healthy games as a rookie, Henry averaged 24 yards per game.
Travis Etienne finally had the game slow down for him half-way through his rookie season, but was averaging 36 yards per game through 4 weeks.
We’ve seen 3 weeks...

And we are going to see a few of these guys getting increased playing time starting this week;
- Jeanty's usage (or lack there of) is being skewered by the media and I would guess his touches increase this week at home against a buttery soft Bears defense
- Hampton is now "the man" for the Chargers with Najee Harris out for the year
- Treyveon Henderson will supposedly be the starter for the Patriots after the fumbling problems with the other backs on the roster
- Judkins is already hammering down after only being on the roster for two weeks.
Much to be determined still...
