J.J. McCarthy and his fiancée, Katya Kuropas, welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Thursday, September 11, 2025. McCarthy, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback, missed practice that day to be at the hospital for the birth, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell.
