Gruden lawsuit can continue
The Nevada Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Jon Gruden in his appeal against the NFL.

From stuff I read at the time this was filed, the leak likely came from an outside firm working for the Redskins. Gruden's case that it was the NFL front office doesn't have legs imo.
There's an alternative theory which is that Goodell was offended by the homophobic slurs, moreso because he has a brother who is gay, so he orchestrated this. I'm skeptical that he'd risk so much for petty revenge, it's not in line with his history imo.
Gruden otoh, imo is a turd. That his turd behavior leaked out and caused him harm doesn't bother me in the least. Also anyone alive on the planet with half a brain should know that email, especially email written on an employee account, has no assumption of privacy.
Even if you encrypt email, putting your shit mindset in print pretty much means there is never less than at least one person somewhere who can out your behavior and put it on display for the world to see.
Tbh my general feeling about Gruden is fuck Jon Gruden, I hope he loses.
