lol, 'VIRGIN' in large letters on the graphic....

To each their own, for sure, but I can't help but think all of those prime years of $%@king just completely wasted. The dude is an athlete, in great shape, he's not going to have any problem at all. Brutal. And maybe should have kept that little tidbit to himself.

Why should he have kept that to himself?  There should be no shame in abstinence,  if anything the shame should come from the others who's body counts read like a mcdonalds sign.  Society would maybe be in better shape if it were more ready to mock the pro athlete that is banging different women nightly and fathering children they have little to no involvement with vs the one that chose to abstain.

I remember when it came out how many kids AD had,  a few spoke out agaisnt him because of this but admonished by others who justified his actions because he had celebrity status, and the means to support the kids, that didn't age well.

In this age of celebrating or justifying bad decisions,  its a little calming to hear that not everyone has abandoned their morales for personal gratification.   Perhaps there are others and Locketts admission will make them more comfortable with their values?

Morals? Its 'calming' to you to hear this, lol? Didn't say he was supposed to go on fuckfest, but if you think its normal to be a virgin still at 30, well put some money in the basket, pass it to your fellow parishioner and say a few 'Our Fathers'.....

Like I said and prefaced in my post: 'To each their own'.....I have a different opinion. He's an athlete....and he knows he would have gotten shit for it, right or wrong.

Yes,  in a world that seems to be in a race to basement when it comes to values and morals it is alarming so when somebody makes a conscious decision to uphold theirs... I find it noteworthy, and certainly not worth mocking or being ashamed of despite what his peers might think or say. There are likely not many that are in that position and are able to make and stay with that choice.

Hell look at your response,  I didn't attack you,  I simply made a counter point and you come back trying to diminish me with mockery.  His decision, likely faith based, is something I thought should be more praised and respected.

Ironically the ones that would most likely be giving him shit,  we're also likely the same ones that make public showings of their faith by "praising God" every time a mic is in their face,  or other such things,  its good to see and hear,   but it would be better if they could live it and not just use it for image polish,  but I think that likely could apply to many of us.

Interesting to talk about morals as the embodiment of the seven deadly sins sits in the Whitehouse as a concentration camp stands in the swamps of Florida while many in Western North Carolina are still homeless.

But, maybe that’s just me.

Careful, mockery/criticism of the blindly worshipped felon/sexual assaulter/fraud gets some people's underoos knotted in a hurry...!

The funniest bit is that so many of the people pounding their tables for "family values" end up busted in pedo stings, propositioning strangers in public bathrooms, and doglike devotion to a known philanderer that works to deport children!

It's kinda bizarre....

...and many of us called out AP (among other athletes/celebs) for his many bad habits, many times.

Why do people think I care (anyone cares) about their sexual, religious or lifestyle choices?

Go be gay, go be hetero, go f ck rocks, go pray to the god of reynolds wrap for all I care...Just leave your neighbors be and keep your business to yourself.

Oh, and stay off my lawn too...

And the forum is so much better since you left. The nature of so-called tolerant democrats to belittle those that don't agree with them is crazy.  It's reflected here once again.

Why does someone being a virgin until they're 30 bother you so much?  I think this says WAY more about you than him.  I think it shows courage and devotion to his core beliefs.  So much tolerance from your side.  You should be proud.
