Forgot how funny it was. I can’t recall a show that packed more one liners in 30 minutes. What a bunch of crazy characters.

Just started Spartacus for the second time. Fiancé is in the UK starting today for nearly 3 weeks and I wanted to binge something she had zero interest in.

Might start Peaky Blinders again. Maybe the 4th time will be the charm.

You'll laugh at this--I'm binging.... old episodes of Kojak.

Yeah I watched them when I was a kid but I don't remember any of it. I just kinda have a thing for early 70's crime drama and it fits. The whole series is available on Prime and I just stumbled into it.

What's next, Mannix or Ironside?

I'll still watch an olde Perry Mason now and then.

My wife keeps telling me to watch Veep...I'll have to give it a go

I was wondering if someone was going to mention Kolchak or not! I ran across it the other night. Forgot how campy and bad some of those 70 shows were...

This is STILL my jam after all these decades...The early years of All in the Family.

Loved All in the Family. They tackled issues no one today would touch with a pole longer than my...20 ft telescoping paint pole extender. So Kojak or Kolchak? The first was the Telly Savalas cop show, the second was this guy....ah the 70s.

Hell comet, really go for it this weekend: there's Cannon with William Conrad, Mannix with Mike Connors and of course Columbo is out there with Peter Falk. Finish it up with the Rockford Files and James Garner. Extra points: catch Kolchak the Night Stalker with Darren McGavin.

Never was a Cannon or Mannix fan. I liked Rockford Files - that was my old man's fave. Night Stalker, that was fun but definitely weird. Streets of San Francisco was ok but I wouldn't go back and watch it again. Mission Impossible was good, I have all of them saved in video files on the PC. But they ran 7 years and got a bit repetitive.

There's a woman with a page on Youtube called "Watch it for Days" who deep dives every Columbo episode, like literally going over every character and inch of the story. It's kind of entertaining though I don't really want to watch a lot of Columbo.

You can tell I grew up on this shit. ;)

He keeps alternating between cigarettes (Nat Shermans - the man had good taste) and lollipops (Dum-dums, I don't know how those rate).

Norman Lear was a trail blazer no doubt...
Think of all the spin-offs from All in the Family back in the day!
They had to do that shot with Sammy Davis twice cause the audience and actors were all laughing so long and so hard. The one that made it to tape was the second take.

If you want to be freaked out, watch some old Davy and Goliath claymation episodes. Yeesh. Sunday morning fare for me before Sunday church. Still traumatized.

You're not the only one my friend...A # of us had therapy for years afterwards. Now Gumby and Pokey? Thats my kinda 60's jam!!
