Nothing will every top the original body style and look. Just like the Bronco, the new style is cool in its own way but not the same as the original. JMO.

I like the new Bronco a lot. The Bronco Sport is an abomination.

Not sure about the El Camino. I’d take it over a Cybertruck 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

I could take or leave a Cyber Truck. A little too bros for me. I dont like Tesla's period though.

Bronco Sport is just a lifted Escape...

Retro's can work; El Camino is one of those models, it's got legend status.

That rendering doesn't ring the bell for me personally, too feminine/not enough retro cool.

Maybe the Corvair is next? ;)

It's a decent concept, and I've liked "Rancheros" I've seen from Mustang foundations...

...but, right now, the car buying public is fixated on some version of a 'pregnant hatchback'. They're happening in all shapes, sizes, drivetrains, etc...sedans are almost dead, coupes likewise, pickups have to have Bluetooth, cupholders, and multiple screens....

What in the hell does a Cybertruck have to with an El Camino any more than a Ford F150?  Lol. It’s kinda like you’re forcing your political views in just for kicks.  Have you test driven a cybertruck?

You want to make this vehicle, fine. Calling this thing a Hornet is another abomination.

Little trade secret - dont buy Stellantis right now...Maybe a Ram, but the rest of the line-up is just terrible QC this generation.

I know this first hand, one of my buddies ran a Jeep/Ram/Dodge/Chrysler store.

Just a shit show.

I remember the El Camino in the 70's, it was awesome and a hot car that everyone wanted. The first time I saw one it was loaded and was the first car I saw with cruise control.

Looks like their design team is compromised of AMC flunkies.

A lot, actually. Without being political, the Cybertruck doesn't look like anything else than a piece of crap tin metal box that screams "look at me".
And for the early claims of how solid it is supposed to be, it's not.
You can't really haul anything of substance (sorry, I need a real pickup bed to haul hay, dirt, fenceposts, garbage to the landfill, and more).

But I agree with some...this new El Camino (didn't see the front), isn't as cool as the original.

Politics aside, I dont know if the cyber-truck will go down in history as great or in infamy lol!

It is w/out a doubt polarizing.

No "politics" made its panels fall off from the wrong glue, the completely debunked performance claims, the immediate buyers' remorse, the wide-ranging opinions about its horrid appearance, and the many issues in usability pointed out in the early reviews.

It's a fugly, junk product before all the brand backlash gets involved.

Sorry, I wasn’t aware that the Cybertruck was the fiercest competitor for the new El Camino.  lol.  I thought you were just bringing it up so you could make a negative statement against Musk.  lol. I think his products pretty much speak for themselves. lol
