I don't think I could make this s**t up. Beyond stumping for this buddy's electric cars on the White House lawn, even beyond using the Easter Egg Roll as a corporate investor "hang" event, even beyond the obvious buy-ins that got Elon and others direct influence with our traitor-in-chief...
...using OUR White House for his Crypto event is a special low. Redcaps, rejoice, at the new level of national prostitution!

"Reservations are limited to the top 220 investors in $TRUMP, a cryptocurrency that President Trump launched on the eve of his inauguration. Trump's meme coin generated nearly $100 million in trading fees in February, despite small traders losing money on investments. The coin's value plummeted in early March with investors losing roughly $12 billion, but value was up nearly 50% today upon news that the biggest $TRUMP holders get a dinner with President of the United States. This suggests investors may be running to buy the coin to qualify for a dinner seat."

The Founding Fathers are spinning in their own dusty vomit.

I just can't imagine why no one showed up to defend his orangeness on that one! It's a puzzler!

(It's fuggin' hilarious)

Oh, and because this whole administration is built on PILES OF OBVIOUS BULLS**T:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/pam-bondi-claim-trump-administration-183700281.html

“In President Trump’s first 100 days we’ve seized over 22 million fentanyl laced pills, saving over 119 Million lives,” Bondi posted to X on her official account.

That's right, folks...our traitor-in-chief's side piece mouth piece says they saved 1 of 3 Americans in the last 100 days. Really.

Next, will Trumplestilskin claim he flew the B2 missions against the Houthis, saving billions of Israelis? (yes, that's hugely more than its populace. It's a joke)

Or, y'know, a golf/PAC fundraiser that's basically selling influence while he's (theoretically) "on the job".

For everyone that hissed about "clearing the swamp" and complained about groups buying influence in DC...if you voted for the orange stain, your hypocrisy is visible from Alpha Centauri.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2025/05/05/trump-hosts-fancy-dinner-crypto-czar-ethics/83466076007/

“Tonight, Mr. Sacks is co-hosting a $1.5 million-a-head dinner for crypto industry players to raise money for a Trump-aligned super PAC,” wrote Warren in a letter to the United States Office of Government Ethics. “Meanwhile, Mr. Sacks is financially invested in the crypto industry, positioning him to potentially profit from the crypto policy changes he makes at the White House.”

Who's the pimp, and who's the whore...?

A PAC fundraiser. Say it aint so!!!!!!!!!! It lacks the imagination of poop paintings with a percentage to the big guy.

Probably the first time that people that attend a fundraiser are looking after their own interests...right Z?

I've said for a long time there shouldn't be private contributions to candidates. Use public funding. Give both sides the same amount of money and let the best candidate win.

The Democrats far outraised the Republicans during the last election cycle....but sure...it was probably all raised from people that didn't want to influence policy or curry favor. I think the real issue here is that Republicans shouldn't be able to fundraise...at all...ever

Surprised to see you Z. Figured you might be down on the UW campus lighting dumpsters on fire with your masked homeboys. lol.

Even in jest, that's the stupidest waste of pixels this year. I'd happily pack the whole lot to El Salvador for being s**tbag terror sympathizers that utilized destruction/violence rather than peaceful protest.

Happily, as more stories of gop resistance to the godawful s**t show and the full-on stupidity coming from the garbage administration...I'm very skeptical that it's gonna be a long "four years". In fact, with growing issues of vacuous orange spittle occurring, we could see an attempt to cut short a "Sleepy Kim Don Un" presidency, soon...!

Oh...don't kid yourself.  I read the same...from the liberal sources.  The sources on the other side report on a few normal sideline skirmishes but nothing out of the ordinary.  Having secured the border...if Trump manages to pull off the tariff moves without tanking the stock market...he'll be frankly untouchable especially as inflation and consumer pricing continue to come down.  Politicians are self serving cowards.  Some will hedge their bets until the Tariffs are resolved...and jump full on-board once that happens. Dems know it too...and they'll fight tooth and nail. Party over Country. You have millions of illegal immigrants to prove it.

Curious to see what Trump's big announcement is before he leaves for the Middle East. Peace Treaty? Tariffs?

Expansion of the Abraham accords.  Witkoff has been working behind the scenes.  Just a guess.

More states are suing against the tariffs, the supply chain issues are getting louder (I still think the current ripples will become truly huge issues), it looks like everyone from the EU/UK to Canada to China and now South Korea are standing up to the orange stain.

It seems like, and this was completely forseeable, that if the US "leadership" wants to belittle/insult longtime allies...particularly trade allies...then typical rules no longer apply.

It's pretty fascinating, particularly the Koreans with the sub offer to Canada...just as Trumplestilskin portrayed their PM's visit as something akin to begging.

The costs of the stupidity aren't anywhere close to being tallied yet, to look at things. The cheeto has dissent in the "ranks", even the "Gulf of America" bit seems likely to be blocked, and several executive orders are hitting blocks in courts.  With Musk basically being brushed under the carpet after DOGE has basically been a running embarrassment...it's getting messier by the minute....

The sub thing is fake news.  The US doesn't make the smaller diesel sub class that Canada is looking for to replace their 40 year old fleet of 4 subs which were purchased second hand from the Brits. They sent an RFP to Korea, Japan, Sweden  Germany, France, Spain in November after announcing it in September of last year (before Trump was elected).  So..spare the faux outrage.  It's more nonsense from the leftist media to make something out of nothing and get the liberals all wound up. It worked for you..  Korea responded to their RFP.  I expect the others will as well.  Shouldn't they? They also didn't send an RFP out to the UK. Aren't they still part of the Commonwealth? Oh...the shame.

Musk being swept under the carpet? As a special government employee, he can only work 130 days in a 365 day year. He's still working on DOGE about a day a week and the organization is still in place. He also has Tesla shareholders that want him to spend more time on Tesla since your team has declared war. Did they ever identify the Washington fire bomber btw? Asking for a friend....

Liberal States suing the Admin? Say it ain't so. The Pubs did the same with the Biden Admin all the time. Isn't the first and won't be the last. Probably trying to drag out the tariff instability as long as possible as trading partners hesitate to come to a deal because they might not have to. It's always party over Country with the new left. It's not the big tent party it once was. Really kind of sad.

...the overall timing is interesting, to say the least...and outrage? Dude, I've stated so many times that I'm chuckling in my ongoing dark humor at this moron-a-thon that I can't count how many it's been, but hey...you remain selective about what you read from me. I guess the consistency of the inconsistency is...something?

Very real issues are coming from this very real assclown collective posing as an administration. I actually wonder if we're going to see a MTG/Bondi cage match for a huge crypto jackpot, soon...as both of the babbling, bulls**tting blondes look like they're picking "sides" in the fragmenting gop...!

Sad and worrisome as it is, and as drooling stupid as this administration looks (while, sadly, making the whole country look like dunce cap divas), it's funny the way a MAD Magazine on the End of Days would still have been funny...!

The important thing, as always, is for the orange stain to get camera time shouting "DEAL!"...but, yeah, it's rarely good news to actually look at the details.

Turning the screws on Americans for camera time: that's our prez!

https://reason.com/2025/05/09/the-u-k-trade-deal-screws-american-consumers/

"The point of comparison should be the average tariff rate on imports from the U.K. before Trump took office. In 2023, the most recent year for which full data are available, the average U.S. tariff on British goods was 3.3 percent.

That means this "deal" charges American consumers a 10 percent baseline tax on goods that were previously taxed at 3.3 percent. That's not a win for free trade or lower prices.

Meanwhile, it is British consumers who will benefit from lower tariffs. According to the White House, the deal means that American exports to the U.K. will now face an average tariff rate of 1.8 percent, down from 5.1 percent before the deal. (In 2023, average U.K. tariffs on American goods were 3.8 percent, so that 5.1 percent figure seems inflated)."

Grab those ankles, American consumers....

Access to UK market increased by 11 billion dollars.  Tariffs on Us products reduced by 4%.  Tariffs increased on UK by 6%.  lol.  Orange man not as stupid as posters labeling him that.  Well, unless you’re terrified of all those UK products somehow driving huge price hikes creases when they produce very little that can’t be sourced internally or cheaper elsewhere.

The UK Finance Minister says they expect a 0.3 percent contraction in their economy as a result of the tariffs.  Doesn't sound like a big windfall to me for the UK.

Also, nothing says "Stinks to high heaven" like getting a shamelessly regal jet "gift"...because he really does seem to want emperor treatment, at every turn.

https://www.newsweek.com/trump-reportedly-getting-luxury-qatari-jet-gift-sparks-fury-2070672

"Critics warn the high-end gift could set a troubling precedent, encouraging other foreign actors to offer luxury goods in pursuit of favorable treatment or possible business dealings. Others are concerned with the legality of the move and if it violates the Constitution's foreign emoluments clause.

Concerns over blurred lines between politics and personal business have repeatedly surfaced during both Trump administrations. The Trump Organization—now run by the president's sons Eric and Donald Jr.—continues pursuing real estate ventures in the Middle East. At the end of April, the organization announced a new $5.5 billion Simaisma development of a luxury golf resort north of Doha."

Golly, it's not like a bunch of us warned about foreigners buying influence, or anything...OFTEN...but, this is from the country that housed hamas leadership AND contributed massive funds to our colleges that had the biggest anti-Israel/West protests!

If this doesn't absolutely reek to all involved, the redcap programming is truly alarming.

I somehow expect Trumplestilskin's personal allies to benefit...AND, for him to get more of his beloved camera time as a bonus!

So...wait...it keeps reeking even stronger...Bondi (the woman that insisted that 3/4 of Americans were saved from Fentanyl, remember) was the ambassador to Qatar, home of both golf resort AND palatial airplane deals?

While I do expect the redcap drone club to insist that this is yet more nothing that amounts to hundred of millions of dollars for their citrus savior, it's good to see the growing pushback in the previously spineless GOP ranks.

https://www.newsweek.com/pam-bondi-qatar-links-under-scrutiny-over-trump-luxury-plane-gift-2070774

"Attorney General Pam Bondi's links to Qatar are under scrutiny again following reports that President Donald Trump will be gifted a luxury plane from the Qatari government.

Bondi worked as a foreign lobbyist for the nation of Qatar, earning $115,000 a month in the role which she held in 2020 and in the run up to the World Cup in 2022.

In this role, she lobbied Congress on behalf of Qatari interests. She also worked in a separate lobbying position for the Washington, D.C.-based firm Ballard Partners, where she also lobbied on behalf of Qatari interests and several conglomerates including Amazon."

Its funny, I dont remember any deep dives into Bidens appointees, their past ties, or this much concern about the money trails... even though there is a lot more evidence of impropriety and quid pro quo than what is being alleged here.

Always so "moderate"!

As I pointed out regularly, the current traitorous clown insists on making a new headline every few hours. Sleepy Joe couldn't make that much news in a typical month.

In the meantime, the truly stupid people are celebrating...what? Our filthbag prez taking a stick to their 401Ks, then giving another temporary reprieve...which looks to simply add more uncertainty and volatility to the churning financial markets in the longer term?

Only the lowest levels of morons would get their legs broken, but call it a "win" when the perpetrator hands them a cane (paid from their own taxes).

I'm not making new threads with each post, but then I'm not fawning over the prez like a tween girl picking out her favorite Jonas brother, either....

Funny what you allow, even from others "picking fights all over the place". I thought you were allowing light hacks...that was your story, anyway.

It's not stabilization, it's constant flux, and the dow figures bear that out.

You choosing to take that personally, and after the little bits you've let fly otherwise, is...sad.
