Schrager Leaving GMFB
Massive hit. Burleson was never fully replaced. Peter has excellent insight and connections. He doesn't do it enough but he's got really good draft insights. No idea who replaces him. My morning fix is forever lessened.
Peter Schrager, the NFL insider and TV personality, is leaving Fox Sports and NFL Network with ESPN the leading candidate to be his next destination, sources briefed on the move told The Athletic.
Schrager has no signed contract yet with ESPN. If the deal is finalized, Schrager is expected to be on the network’s daily shows, including “NFL Live,” “Get Up,” “First Take” and other studio programming. ESPN is gearing up for its initial Super Bowl in February 2027. Schrager would likely have a role in draft coverage.
