Vikings meeting with a LOT of much bigger OLs than a zone team would normally. I know they mix zone and gap but I'm starting to get the feeling we could move even further in the gap direction.

It is a copycat league.  Philly showed the way, now teams are going to get bigger up front.

Overview
Inside/outside wide receiver with height, weight and length but missing ideal speed. Holden’s high-knee action in his take-off is unmistakable and he gets into routes with urgency. He’s a ready-made zone-beater with above-average play strength and feel for space. He’s capable of running a full route tree but will have issues getting off press and slipping man coverage. The tape doesn’t stand out, but his physicality and willingness as a run blocker is a differentiator that could help his cause.
Strengths
Touchdown-maker who averaged a TD grab for every 7.1 catches.
Possesses crafty elements in his route running.
Good spatial awareness as a zone target.
Catches with quick pluck-and-tuck to put it away.
Has footwork to stutter and sharply change direction.
Gets after it as a run blocker.
Weaknesses
Struggled to elude press coverage against Penn State.
Top-heavy with a lack of burst coming out of turns.
Slow to lock in as a deep-ball tracker.
Doesn’t feature much elusiveness after the catch.

Traeshon is a guy that gets open, that works wonders in the NFL. Slot guy, solid body. Does the little stuff and has the intangibles to be a WR3 in the NFL, IMO. Really good run blocker downfield. This is Nailor's last year in Minnesota, so time to scour for that new WR3. If it comes UDFA or 6th or 7th round, don't care.

Schwesinger consensus is 51. Would the Vikings really consider taking an off-ball LB with their first pick? Also interesting that Seattle has picks 50 and 52 and the trade math is pretty close. 24 (740) 50+52 (780)

Considering how we suffered when Cashman was out and to a lesser extent Pace, I could see it. I prefer Knight but if we did trade back I could see it after addressing either iDL, G, or CB.

LOL

That's what JJM would look like if he played LB!

Also saw Viking's brought in RB Kalel Mullings in for a visit of their Top 30. I love this kid's upside and aptitude. Good athlete at 6'1+" and 227 lbs. This is a guy I'd love to see Minnesota sign as an UDFA. Thought about bringing him up awhile ago but didn't want to be a Michigan homer.

Overview
Mullings is a big back and inside runner who plays the game with a healthy level of disdain for the defense, using bend, balance and leg drive to move piles and break tackles. He runs with average vision and feel for the blocking scheme and lacks open-field elusiveness. He has good foot agility for his size and might have more up his sleeve in a more diverse rushing scheme. Mullings can handle some protection duties and should be an immediate option on special teams. He offers Day 3 value as a downhill back for teams looking to add size and toughness to their room.

I did see someone on Twitter post a mock drafting Loveland and trading Hock.

We hear a lot of players we might trade FOR, but don't hear as much about players we might trade. I don't think KOC's going to mess with his offense. And Hockenson's value probably couldn't be lower right now. But I do wonder about Van Ginkel. 29, All Pro last year, cheap $10M AAV, and in a contract year.

Maybe, but I'd see it more as an opportunity to balance the talent on the roster. We have Dallas Turner ready to go and promising depth in Murphy and Richter. Maybe trade The Logo for a 2nd rounder and draft at more a position of need. You can always draft an edge later to fortify the depth.

On the other hand, having three top edge rushers in rotation is a nice luxury to have.
