Thanks again Cori Clingman...

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Starting experience. Special teams ace. I'll take it. But it doesn't really move the needle much. I have a feeling the Vikings are going to add a few more lower-tier free agents like this.

May not move the needle much, but special teams need to improve. Sherfield is gone, and he was a special teams asset.
It's nice to bring in the free agents they have, but special teams free agents are needed and are relatively cheap. So I hope you are right, and we see more lower tier free agents to bolster special teams. Be nice to have a guy like Chris Nord, Heath Farwell, or Chris Walsh. The trilogy on special teams is a consistent field goal kicker, a punter who can place the ball or hang it high to allow coverage, and a punt returner who can catch the the ball without muffs or fumbles, and doesn't fair catch inside the 10 yard line.
In the history of the Vikings Bud Grant always had the best special teams. I would like to see those days return.

Exactly. He did have one pretty good season at slot, but this is a ST move. Now go get Duvernay as a returner and we're set.

Who's Tavierre Thomas, recently signed by Vikings? Top-shelf special teamer to replace loss of Trent Sherfield. Posted a 90.5 PFF grade on special teams last year, where he had 403 snaps. Plays in all 4 phases. Has been with Cardinals, Browns, Texans and Bucs. pic.twitter.com/NoCY6ypDpe
