Until we see the guaranteed money we don't know much about the real value of this contract or how tied the team is to the player. I wonder if this takes us out of the first round DT market.

Wowzer. Ok, so we all must have seriously underrated this guy's talent and abilities. You don't pay that otherwise. Good thing we aren't GMs I guess.

Can someone find out his actual size? All I see is 265 lbs, lol.....its obvious he's a lot bigger than that.

6'3" 300 lbs

He's a former 1st rounder who's made two pro bowls. It's not like he's been a bust.

I think a lot of people dog him because they think he's too old. He just turned 30. That might be old for a skill position, but not a lineman. He also had a down year in 2024. But he played most of the year with a torn pec. He could've gone on IR, but he played through it. Ideal 5T for us

Reminder: Jonathan Allen signing in Minnesota does not count towards the comp pick formula.

The importance of this cannot be underestimated. Comp picks might be important because I have a feeling Kwesi might move some 2026 draft capital to maneuver this year.

I think you're right. The Vikings will likely get the maximum comp picks next year. And with each signing, the Vikings are getting closer and closer to being able to take BPA in the draft, and closer to making a trade down more tolerable. Throw in a '26 pick and we can pretty easily turn 4 picks into 7.

Kwesi will have a hair trigger on a slider. We have two guys on rookie contracts at the highest paid positions. Roster construction, after that abortion of a first draft, has been top notch.

Hargrave and Allen should help the pass-rush a bunch. Greenard and Gink might be happier than any of the fans today.

I dont see either of em as every down kinda guys anymore. I am a bit surprised we threw that much $$ at 30 year old IDL. Gotta see how the contracts are structured.

Y'all know KOC is salivating for one of those tail-backs this draft too ;)

Looking at snap counts, Hargrave has typically been in the low 60% range. Allen has historically been much higher, typically above low 70% and touched over 80% a couple times.

It’s an interesting break from the high draft pick never met expectations types (Bullard and Tillery) to proven Pro Bowlers. It will be interesting how the rest of the room fills out. Imagine adding Harmon or Alexander to this group. Redmond definitely flashed. Tillery had moments. Bullard, hit the bricks.

That's what I can't stop thinking about. Imagine adding Jeanty or Hampton to this offense.

I would be very happy with Henderson or Hampton. Jeanty is going to go higher than I think a lot of people predict.

But it may be a hard decision with a good, young DT on the board. I keep thinking the $ has to be on the kid from Oregon.

I just know KOC luvs him some offense and knows his rook QB needs a stud in the backfield.
