That's what happens when you add a top-tier RB to a team in its Super Bowl window. As much as I'm still no fan of their fans or culture in general, they did it better than the rest. Great trench players, they raised their franchise QB, plenty of skill at the most important positions...that's how it's supposed to work.

this cant be said enough.... they focused their attention early on their lines and then built out from there, they werent looking to add short term players like RB when they were still a few years away from a real contending team. that was the last piece. If we go looking RB early, especially with the lack of draft capital and the number of huge holes at other positions, I am really going to lose my shit.

No Doubt Their drafting has been phenomenal and they build teams the right way. They also always seem to spend a lot and not lose much for players.
Funny how things change. Barkleys agent told the Giants that a 3-year deal at $12.5M per would've kept him in New York. A year later, on a much better team, he wins a Super Bowl and gets $20.6 per.
Philly is the Gold Standard right now for rugged, effective and punishing NFC power on both sides of the ball. They have a QB that is just good enough. Got lucky when the Giants lost their mind and let Barkley go. When you keep your window open each year by drafting well, you can take advantage and swoop in to get a talent like Barkley, right time right place. Puts you a notch above.
IMO, Vikings have a ways to go to get to that level. They need some dawgs at positions where you inflict your will. Take this year to make advances toward that, start McCarthy and you'll be ready to make real noise in 2026. WoopDeDo about 14 wins and getting snuffed again first round in the playoffs. Take a year to take just one little step back to take two big steps forward for 2026. You need physicality in the NFL, coupled with really good skill players at important positions.
