Ball Security: how Philly Stole the NFC Crown
Washington is coughing up the ball every time they get any momentum, so this will be a "tale of the turnovers" for the future.
Bummer, I truly despise Philly and their assclown fans.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....
Redskins should be winning this game. Turnovers and idiotic penalties are the story unfortunately and sends the Eagles (once again) and their obnoxious fucking fans to the Super Bowl (again).
Can you imagine being a fan of a team where getting to championship games and Super Bowls is common place? Been on this planet almost 50 fucking years and have never seen the Vikings get there. So incredibly frustrating seeing the same teams year after year

Until we.fix.the.trenches.
You can’t win if you are not dominant on the lines.
I'll join the I hate the Eagles and their fans line...
Its tough this time of year when you're not playing for all the marbles.
I wasn't legal drinking age the last SB we were in, now I need to research Medicare plans soon.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Agreed, but we've had the trenches covered in the past, but then it was we didn't have any corners worth a shit or trotting out Tarvaris Jackson, or Anderson misses a kick, or Bridgewater almost has his leg amputated lol. It's rough being a fan of this franchise when you see the same fucking teams competing for Super Bowls every year. I'll count it as maybe the biggest miracle of my lifetime if this franchise ever wins one.

Holly damn. The Vikings are in a different level when it comes to bad luck.

Medicare supplement. Don’t touch advantage with a ten foot pole.

I'm in this group. Now I calculate my chances every year to see if it will happen in my lifetime. I think it's about 1 in 10 or so.

IT takes a lot to win one for sure...
All I can say is hang in there, hope for the best (at least once.) Growing up in the 60's/70's the Vikings had some great teams, best in NFC. It was the expectation to be in the SB discussions each pre-season. Then about 1978 it went away and we really havent had another run like that since.
Not for lack of trying.

No, I am not even considering Advantage at this point. I saw all the problems with it the last couple of years and made a mental note to avoid.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Welp, Bills fans can continue to bask in our misery. They truly are the AFC Vikings.
And I couldn't be any less interested in watching the Super Bowl. Fuck the Chiefs and fuck the Eagles. Same ol' same ol'
I think Washington outpunted their coverage in any measure during the playoffs. They were the underdog feel good story with the rookie QB and a new owner who was not Daniel "I'm an assclown with money" Snyder. They felt good.
And I was really pulling for Josh Allen Dalvin's little brother James, comeback kid Hamlin and the rest of the Bills. They damn near did it.
The Vikings D was not in this league of the final four this year gang. We have some serious work to do to get to the next level. We're not there yet.
However, by watching these two games...we're not that far off. We are off, but certainly closer than we had been in recent years.
Hope springs eternal if you are a Vikings fan, because August always comes.
And with that, all interest in the Super Bowl is gone. For me anyway. No young rookie sensation in Daniels, no 5th attempt at a Super Bowl victory with the Bills. There's really no story at all, just a game it seems we've seen a hundred times. Good day to go snowboarding I guess.
I have to say Kansas City is amazing. They can look like shit all season, but they always seem to pull it together for the playoffs. It makes me wonder if Andy Reid might not save certain things for the postseason.

I noticed that too. They were playing not to lose.

The defense held them to 3 on the go ahead and the wheels fell off the offense
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams

Allen threw some balls last night that made me scratch my head. Uncharacteristic.
I honestly think Reid/Spags out-coached that Bills staff too...Those Allen runs to the left on 4th down were expected and stopped too.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Do you really think they looked like shit? They were 15-1 then gave the last game away to rest guys. That's pretty good for looking like shit.

I don't think Philly 'stole' anything, they were gifted some things that changed the dynamic of the game. I mean, Barkley rushed for 115 yards and 3 TDs regardless. Hurts was efficient and the Eagles could afford to be more conservative in their gameplan being gifted those turnovers early and then there was no way that Washington was going to get back into this game with the rushing attack that Philly can lay out there. The Giants should be made to take a season off for the idiocy of letting Saquon Barkley leave. Honestly, I think Detroit was the best team in the NFC, but injuries decimated their D. Otherwise, I don't see them losing in the playoffs. Thank God for small favors, lol. ;)
Ya I don't think you're stealing or getting ref help when you win 55-23.
Washington's run finally ended because they just don't have much of a defense while Philly does. They could outgun Detroit's gutted D but yesterday was a different situation.

Mostly Mahomes, who had the worst year of his career.

Three key FA signings in March:
Dominant RG
Dominant LG
Dominant DL
I don't believe you have to fix Bradbury if he gets superior play on either side of him.
With Darrisaw back and O'Neil on the other side, we would have an amazingly stout OL.
And I like Harrison Phillips in a huge way as a person. He is just not as dominant of a hole-plugger as some of the others on the remaining Super Bowl-bound teams.
Three signings which we can afford with a QB on his rookie deal.
