The loss in the playoff's is fresh (for me)...Probably too early for some, but I'm starting to remind myself that I figured this was a 6/7/8 win team tops going into the year.
As a season tix holder, I was thoroughly entertained.
And that home schedule in 25? Wow!!
They didnt get to where any of us ultimately want to see them get to, but the journey was a good ride for most of 24.

Preseason expectations were low. Once you win 14 games you don't go into the meaningful contests thinking 'hey it's ok if we lose cuz 3 months ago we thought we sucked.' At least I don't because I can't do those sorts of rationalizing mental gymnastics.
All I'm saying (for me) is they exceeded expectations in 24 and my entertainment $$ was well spent.
A playoff loss still sucks and 0/2 in the playoffs 2 of the last 3 year still sucks.

My wife asked me why I wasn't nervous going into the Rams game. I told her I have absolutely no expectations. The Vikings had exceeded what I had hoped for this year. I'm actually relieved that the real Sam Darnold showed up so we didn't stick earth shattering money into him.

It was a great year to be a Vikings fan. We got a playoff game using house money.I thought if they forced JJ McCarthy in there, we would’ve won 5, or maybe 6.
With Sam I figured we’d win about 11 or 12? so yeah, they exceeded my expectations as well. I knew Sam had a lot of tools, He just needed to be surrounded by the right cast of characters.
It was quite a ride. Obviously the repeat loses sucked but it is what it is. It just clearly reinforced where the holes are. For the love of all that is sacred and holy, address the IOL
