They have requested an interview with Grant Udinski. This is one of the coaches I was hoping stays under the radar.
We can’t lose him now.

What does he actually do for the Vikings that would make him such a loss?

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

assistant OC/asst QB coach Grant Udinski for their vacant offensive coordinator job, sources say. The 28-year-old Udinski has been a vital part of Kevin O’Connell’s operation and clearly on the coaching fast track.

I am guessing an angle on Darnold if I had to guess.

Well, if he compares the stadiums, Udinski should want to stay. I've been to both, and the Vikings have a MUCH better stadium.

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

The Seahawks believe they are one strong QB play away from being a very good team. They don't believe in Geno. I could see them going this route strictly for Darnold.

How about F no?

Udinski is the future OC of this team - probably not too far off.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

That,   or promote and compensate them to stay.

Ever notice that no teams request to interview Wes Phillips?

Too old...

But yah, you are correct.

Udinski is what every staff wants; smart and young. If you ask the QB's, he has been integral to them day to day.

Yep. He's ancillary, not primary. He'll never be an OC. He doesn't have the gravitas.

I have a hard time believing that this isnt and wont include Darnold. If he is getting a second interview, I would guess they have already reached out to us about that.

Kevin O'Connell is going to end up with his own coaching tree in the NFL, watch and see.

It is starting to look that way for sure. I just hope the Wilfs get it done. I just wonder if the Wilfs are gun shy since they were duped by Childress, Fraizer, and Zimmer. Every time they committed big money it didn't seem to work out.

I don't think there's anything wrong, I think they are just negotiating a bit with some details. There's no rush really whether its in a week or a month or so....he's under contract for another year.

I don't think the Wilf's will let KOC coach a lame duck year though. Unless that is what KOC ultimately ends up wanting. I do feel its going to get done. Negotiations have to start somewhere. Sounds like right now they are pretty far apart.
