Forgot about the missed blocked punt where the ball magically seemed to go right through KGH's body.

It was a pretty dominating performance. I do agree with the idea that if 2 of those impact plays that didn’t happen would have happened or maybe like 6 of the sacks didn’t happen, it would have been closer. But we were not a functional offense that was going to score any substantial amount of points without miracles.

Maybe we’ll look back it and think the defense wasn’t as bad as we thought, but the offense absolutely stunk.

D was fine actually just like the Detroit game where we struggled is with Kevin O’Connell’s refusal to do adjustments when it was obvious his quarterback was struggling with throws down field and reads

Watched the game on replay expecting to see the “dominance” that was all over the post-game talk. Didn’t see it at all. Maybe the DL pressure. But one incredibly missed blocked punt opportunity and that game goes to the wire."

Stats can be twisted.  TOP, well they scored on defense and their offense scored quickly, so by itself, means nothing.

2/10 on 3rd down, they only faced 10 3rd downs.  and one of those they went for it on 4th and we jumped offsides.  Not saying it was a dominating performance by the rams on offense because our D did pretty well after the first couple of drives.

And yes, the sack, fumble and TD by our D that was taken away and the ghost of the blocked punt would have been huge swings.

Sam’s sacks were mostly due to his holding the ball for like an average of around 4.7 seconds per sack. 8 of his 9 sacks were on 4 man rushes. The ghosts were back…

A switch to Mullens might have salvaged things. Low % chance but still better than zero which is what Sam gave us. I've never seen a guy melt into a puddle so fast in all my life.
