Most Attractive HC Gig
Which HC opening do you think is the most attractive?
Ownership
Team Talent
Draft Situation
Cap Situation
Culture
City
Fan Base
CHICAGO
JETS
DALLAS
JAGS
SAINTS
RAIDERS
I personally would rank the Bears #1 and Raiders #2
Raiders are going to have a TON OF $$$
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Dallas maybe? They put up with McCarthy as long as they did.

The common theme with most of these jobs available are meddling, impatient ownership who have proven they'll fire you in the blink of an eye without cause. Because of this, I'd probably list the Saints job as the most attractive. They have some good pieces in place and play in a pretty average division.
Saint or Raiders
Bears are going to have an ownership change soon, and the new owner will want to put a stamp on the team, not to mention the nfcnorth is kinda a bitch right now.
The rest... no explanation necessary.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I would lean heavily to him being back as well.

The Vikings hired him! So why wouldn't another team take a chance? Lawsuit aside, I think he's gone. I sure hope not. He is a big reason the Vikings had the season they had, not KOC and Darnold.

There is a lot to this post. I need a minute to digest it... Flores isn't going anywhere. I think he would have taken the Patriots job and that is about it. Not many teams will take a chance on a guy with open lawsuits. I don't believe he is gone. There is hardly any smoke to that statement.
As to your "KOC and Darnold are not the reason for the season they had" part. I got nothin. No words on that part.

I screwed the end of that post up. What I meant to say was KOC and Darnold wouldn't have had as successful a season without Flores.
I think if you replayed this season, but replaced Flores with a league average DC, this is probably a 9-10 win team. If you replaced him with a bottom tier DC, we probably win 6-8 games. This was a pretty good offense, but there weren’t many games where they were carrying the team. Even after all the turnovers our defense caused, the offense was ranked around 10th. The best offenses in the league were 20-30% better than our offense, scoring an extra 8 points per game and an extra 80 yards per game. What made this team successful was pairing a 10ish offense with a top turnover and top scoring defense.

Yep, plenty of times the O sputtered and the D stepped up and carried the load until the O got its shit together. Of course there were a lot of instances where the D would allow the opposition to drive the field and score to easily putting undue pressure back on the O, but overall I agree the D was very instrumental in this years success.

I think they both picked up each other throughout the season. The offense played well as a whole, at times struggled, through the season. I wouldn't necessarily say the offense wouldn't be successful without them. We just wouldn't have been a 14 win team, but I think the offense numbers would relatively stay the same.

You are right. They were the most complimentary team they have had in quite awhile. Future looks bright.

No doubt. They worked great together. Can't remember, maybe 2009, that we had a team so balanced on both sides.
