The Lions haven't lost a road game all season, but they have lost 14 consecutive road games, including the playoffs, against the 49ers, with the last win coming in 1975 at Candlestick Park.

That is tied for the sixth-longest road losing streak against a single opponent in NFL history including playoffs, according to ESPN Research.

I just want the Vikings to beat the Packers so the Lions have something to play for. And though the 9ers aren't very good right now, they may be motivated by a chance to knock them off.

This game sure looked a lot better on paper 3 months ago. It's shocking how shit the 49ers have become. Outside of a big win over a hapless Bears team, their offense has averaged 12 points a game the last six weeks. Even as banged up as they are, it's hard to see the Lions dropping this one. Love to see it though.

I agree, Lions should win this handily. But Shannahan might have his guys fired-up and playing for their tapes as well as some 49'er pride.

Makes you wonder if their window is still open or not in 25?

Should the Vikings lose the Lions will probably start resting some guys. Vikings win they will have to play starters for at least a good portion of the game. I don't want them resting the week before the Vikes play them.

If the Vikings lose today, all the drama of next week is pretty much gone. Wouldn't surprise me if we rest players that final week if that was the case.
