Cowboys at Giants
Cowboys facemask a Giant player and a flag is thrown and the refs mark it off against the Giants. Wow.
You saw who scored all of the Giants points, right? Greg Joseph.
The penalties totally drug down what otherwise could have been a good game. Daniel Jones turtling every time they got into the red zone was hard to watch as well. Both teams looked fine. For TNF, we'll take it.
Malik Nabers continues to look like a force. Hope he's okay. And I hope for his sake the Giants can figure things out around him, or he might toil away there like Saquon did for years.
Two mediocre teams. Blech.
I don't know about the refs but there should be some sort of fine for whoever thought these butt-ugly hats were a good idea.
So people wonder why they broadcast the Giants/Jets/Cowboys games so often in prime time, regardless if the teams are good or not. Here's why: this game averaged 16.22 million viewers, an all time high for TNF on Prime and what Amazon said was the most streamed NFL regular season game in history. New York and Dallas move the viewership needle unlike any other teams. Its the same reason national sports shows like The Herd, Rich Eisen Show, Dan Patrick Show, etc. talk about those teams often regardless of record. Its annoying, but the game is about streams/views/clicks and listens....you can charge more for advertising. And if they are good teams? The viewship goes up substantially nationally. People watch to love them and to hate them, either way the broadcast companies win.
