OT: Going on a year already...

Can't believe we're already coming up on a year of adopting Walter...

He was found abandoned in a park last summer @ 25 lbs. 

Vet thinks he was 6-9 mos old at the time. He was about 48 lbs when we got him, today he's tipping the scales at a svelte 70. 

I would be lying if I said it was easy, he has had a lot of training to go through. 

But we had a good, kind dog with a "wants to please dna" to start with. He's good with other critters and kids too. 

We were curious about his DNA and you'd think some Dalmation, but he's Labrador, Pittie and Basset Hound.

Go figure...

For us? Our lives are richer with some critters in the pack. 

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
