Why didn't JJ play?
He's not injured.
Not playing in a PS game to avoid injury so he can get traded ?
Don't trade JJ.

There has to be. Nothing else makes as much sense as that. Not sure what it is, but if KOC/Teasley and company are ready to move on and it sure looks and smells like it, there has to be more to it.

UMich guy Schefter: Multi-week injury!
Do I have this timeline right and also, WTAF?
It sounds like the team might have known it could be a multi-week thing. By waiting until the final cuts, they could put him on the 4 week IR. Had they put him on injured status prior to final 53, he would be out for the year. That would certainly explain the 4 QBs.

So with Brosmer getting cut, does that put this conspiracy on ice?
I think max goes to the ps squad if nobody steps up for him. Only thing I’m waiting for now is depth chart.
But even that feels like jj is going to be qb3.
That’s a long ways from where I thought we’d be going into camp.
My way of saying I don’t think the trade talk will die down for next 2-3 weeks.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Yeah, I doubt it goes anywhere. If you think JJM is forever garbage, the team is better off with just 2 QBs, so at any point in time you're better off making the trade.
More just once real games happen we can focus on whichever players who are actually playing or not getting snaps rather than the imaginary world of reading between the lines.

Possibly. His wife tweeted nothing to worry about at the time. I wonder if he is asking out and this is like a camp hold-in type move.

I don’t think this is the case any longer. I think you can designate as a 4 week return to get to 53. I am absolutely not certain this is the case.

JJ opted for the full surgery for his meniscus tear. Definitely the better option for the post career life. The trim option would have had him back in less than a month. Based on everything we know now, I think the trim would have been better for his career. We’ll never know for sure, but I’ll always wonder about that.
Great point. Something I have often Pondered as well.

His injury status is weak, too weak.

All you can do is laugh at this point. What’s next? Hyperextended vulva? Inflamed ovaries? Gout?
