@purplefaithful ~ Am I going senile? I could've sworn you made a post & stated it was currently in 4th place. I had to leave for a minute & when I came back, it was gone! Maybe it was someone else, but be that as it may, that particular post vanished.

^^ This 100%. Truly, nothing better, IMO than being there on a fall day with those big doors open and catching a slight cool breeze. Unbelievable amtosphere and incredibly beautiful stadium all around. You feel like you're outdoors as much as you possibly can from being inside. They did this one right, IMO.

I will say, it's a vastly different experience being under the greenhouse, reflective glass on a sunny day, than on the other side. That sun can be incredibly annoying and hot.

Our season tix are on the glass roof side and never had an issue with it. I forget the name of the stuff they used, but it is supposed to reflect heat which has been our experience. Dont know if thats the side of the roof that needs replacing from hail damage? I think it is.

Only thing better than a fall day game at USB with the doors open is a fall night game at USB with the doors open!

THIS!!! 100% this, Ive been there a few times now and by far the coolest thing was when them flames shot out about 30 yards or so from the dragons mouth, as well as the players running out through the columns shooting flames upward. the light from the roof is nice, I dont really get the excitement from the big doors, been there with them open and closed and didnt really feel much different as far as game time vibes went, probably could have went with big windows and saved a hundred million.

I think the cold air and snow bits ( not really flakes) falling are kind of a neat thing though, would be better if they could crank up a friggin blizzard at times!

I still think I would have preferred a retractable roof with a more suburban setting that would have allowed for more of a tailgate setting and then support businesses to develop around it. Would be cool to see one of these new stadiums really do it right, make a stadium a center piece for a true year round destination.
