Unfortunate to hear because the Scorcese movie is a classic that scared/disturbed me successfully. I'm going to give the show a chance at some point but I'll lower my expectations!
I've seen more movies lately than tv shows. Obsession was fantastic and scary, Mortal Kombat 2 was a lot of fun, and Toy Story 5 was solid. Looking forward to Backrooms and The Odyssey.

Early reviews of Nolan's Odyssey have been ridiculous. I read the story three times between high school and college. The first two times because I had to, the 3rd time because I wanted to. Such a great adventure story. Can't wait to see what Nolan's done with it.

ummmm yah...

made it through S3 Ep1 last night - barely.

Somewhere the original recipe was lost; warring around was never the sole reason GoT was as good as it was for most of its run.

smh

Season Finale of Cape Fear Friday night.....I love Javier Bardem, he's making the show for me. Good acting overall, however....nice suspenseful premise. Remake of a remake. I wouldn't say its knocking my socks off, but its been mostly decent.

I'm forcing myself to watch it during my workouts and I too just don't think it's all that good. The characters are not compelling at all.

Thats as good a time as any to knock it out this summer...I thought S1 and S2 weren't too bad. They were a bit of GoT dopamine for me minimally.

Did you watch the original movie or the remake?

Man, I thought the series just paled in comparison to either movie. Unwatchable for my household.

I tend to agree.....its a slightly different take on the previous movies. Bardem is the show. The latest episode was their best of the run, so it changed my opinion more positively. We'll see what they have in store Friday. Its such a great original premise for a movie the old ones. I'm not a purist when it comes to remakes, so I'm probably more flexible.

Thats about right for this spinoff...

But the OG GoT?

My favorite series of all time along with Seinfeld, All in the Family and the OG Batman...Lol, I was 6 years old when that George Barris Batmobile first fired-up in the bat cave, and I was imprinted forever!

And Norman Lear was genius...

Just started Banshee. My recent TV viewing was lacking gratuitous sex.

What did u think of the final episode of Max pleasure guaranteed?

We enjoyed the series. Hasn't been renewed (yet) for S2 by Apple.
