Ramp up to TC: How we feeling about the corners?
Less than 2 weeks until training camp. Like our corners? I was mildly surprised to see that Bryon Murphy Jr. is only 28 years old. I'm very lukewarm on Isiah Rodgers, at least his play last year. Like the James Pierre addition. I wonder if a kid like Zemaiah Vaughn can step up? Charles Demmings getting some fan buzz, but not sure what he'll provide in Year 1 in a BFlo concept. How many corners were on the active roster last season?
I don't think its a strength necessarily, but I also don't consider it a weakness. Lots of rookies currently today at the position, maybe find one gem?

If this were a Zimmer group, I think we'd be horrified. For a Flores group it's solid. That's why it was so important to keep Flores. If we had lost him, I think we would've had to change out the corner group...and without much money to do it. Glad the Wilves stepped up on that one.

Well, the rumor is that Flores's new deal made him the highest paid DC in the NFL. $6mm to stay in Minnesota...for another year, surpassed Vic Fangio's $4.5mm along with others. So give it to the Wilf's for putting the effort (and wallet) into keeping him.

$$ talks for sure, the word is BFlo and his family are very comfortable and like it a lot here in MN...
$6mm is a ton of $$. They are probably paying Teasley $1-$2mm as a newer GM and then KOC I believe is about $12.5mm

It's a round house; there are no corners. If the loss of Greenard's pressures and sacks aren't found elsewhere, there could be a problem at corner. Otherwise I think they will be ok.
Not great but better than last year when our CB3 starting the season was 🤢Jeff Okudah 🤮. Pierre is the steady vet while Demmings is the electric talent., with Vaughan likely ahead of Demmings due to last season's experience.
