Big move by the Rams, who were probably already the favorites (or close). They look like this as it stands, IMO:

  1. Rams

  2. Buccaneers

  3. Seahawks

  4. Eagles

  5. 49ers/Packers (tie)

I'd say with this move, it's Rams Seahawks 1-2, then the Eagles, and after that it could be a couple different teams.

It's the Rams. Rams should have beat Seattle last year and walked to another SB win. I look forward to following the Rams again this year. Always was a fan of Stafford and Donald. The Rams team is built about the best you can do it.

I think we could be sneaky good if our QB is resolved.

If Murray is half as good at what some are proclaiming him to be, this offense will be unstoppable. You have a player in Jefferson that is just licking his chops to explode next year. Last year was a wasted year for Jefferson because of Kwesi. Mistakes were made, JJ wasn't ready, stubbornness. It was all bad. Just because I am not huge on Kyler, doesn't mean I can't recognize that the Murray signing was all on JJ. If he plays better in 25, granted he had a few in a row that were good, then Murray wouldn't have been a thought for us. That is fact.

I still am high on McCarthy. I think he has everything to make him successful when it comes to a QB. After stepping back and really thinking about things, JJ needs to present himself a ton better. Be more of a professional. You already have the love of the locker room, Kid. Coming across as a bit of a b!%$h. Doesn't look good. Kyler clearly has the experience and is presenting himself as such.

Bottom line... I just want to win.

  3. Philly

  4. 49ers

  5. Chicago

Rams adding Garrett tilts the field. 24 sacks when the Browns rarely had a lead. Plus McDuffie and Watson on the corners. On paper it shouldn’t be close.

I don't think the Vikings are done with their roster. Teasley is gonna evaluate vikings roster before TC. Depending on what he thinks and what the staff sees in OTA's I think he'll make some moves.

Teasley is also not afraid to trade a player.

With any kind of luck I think the Vikings could be in that group.

Rams

Eagles

Vikings

49ers

Seattle Seahawks

Could also maybe be a couple others surprise teams.

Rams- If Aaron Donald comes back for a playoff run, the rest of the league has problems.

Eagles- If their new receiver can step in and step up, the rest of the league has problems.

Seahawks- Defending champs, Darnold-to-JSN will still be lethal.

Rams stand out. I also like the Seahawks who didn't lose much, the Bucs, Vikings and Lions. I think the Eagles take a step back. A whole new offense to learn. Packers should not be ahead of either the Lions or Vikings. Packers lost Gary and Walker. They didn't have a 1st rounder and their key signing was...Javon Hargrave. Bears lost 8 starters, play a 1st place schedule and will never repeat that ungodly turnover differential from 2025.

  1. Seahawks

  2. Vikings

  3. Bears

  4. Lions

  5. Falcons

I would have to say:

  1. Rams (By a mile right now)

  2. Seachickens (To be the best you gotta beat the best)

  3. Chicago (The hope was always Chicago would continue to hire dingleberry head coaches. They may have finally gotten it right...uggh)

  4. Packers (This one was hard to type. May not have a top 5 record just because the NFC North is a gauntlet)

  5. Carolina (Another year with Bryce Young. They always seem right on the edge)

Honorable Mention: Giants, I think Harbaugh is going to make all the world of difference. Dart had his moments and Scatterknucklehead will be back.

Like everyone else has said.  Rams, Seahawks  …  Vikings/Bears/Eagles ... Dallas/Green Bay/Lions

I think Dallas has sneakily improved.  I still don’t like Dak as a SB contending QB, but I think you can say that about a lot of the QBs in the NFC until they prove it.  I also think the Lions will look real good against the 4th place schedule.  While most national people are kind of down on the Vikings, I think they’ll get much better QB play this year, whether it’s Kyler or JJM and it will make up for their losses on defense, but I also am pretty optimistic that our defense will be really good this year despite the turnover.
