....that the offensive line is going to continue be the big weak spot and undermine the season. Everything else is in place to be a strong presence in the NFC. But it begins and ends with the lines.

Players on the Vikings’ defense are heading into the season confident that they can dominate.“We’ve got the best defense in the NFL,’’ Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson said.
Other players echoed those sentiments. Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter said the players have it in their minds that they should be the best in the league.

That’s where the Vikings were last year, as their defense dominated on the way to a 5-0 start. But the defense declined significantly later in the season, and the Vikings went from 5-0 to 8-8. The Vikings need their defense to back up its brash talk for 16 games this season

About an hour before the Minnesota Vikings’ afternoon practice on Monday, the team announced that RB Latavius Murray was taken off the physically unable to perform list and would be practicing.

about time,  maybe watching Sankey run all over on saturday night took the pain away?  it will be good to see him get out there and get some work in.

OK,  Now that camp is behind us its really time to get cranking on this thing.  We are targeting the Tampa Bay game on Sunday September 24th for our annual goings on.  We are once again hoping to do some sort of Saturday gathering as well as a tailgate before the game....during the game.... and maybe after the game as well ( watch out for the cracks in the asphalt...they can be a real challenge)  for those that dont know... typically there are a few that dont have tickets to the game, but want to hang out anyway so we get a TV set up in the parking lot with the game feed going on it for those outside... (this is actually a pretty good time as you can really get to know your brethren and the beers is much much cheaper)
