I didn't realize how easy it would be to slide down to the #3 seed. Case in point; We lose to GB (Rogers will play) and Carolina beats TB?

Say goodbye to #2 seed. 

That game in GB is huge and much more difficult with Rogers playing. Much more. 

Good news is we control our own destiny.

The Saints would have to lose also.  They hold tiebreaker over Carolina because they beat them twice.  If it ends in a three-way tie between Vikings, Saints and Panthers, the Vikings would be the #2 seed, Saints the #3 and Panthers would be in position for a wildcard.

Not the case, Carolina has to win the division first. 

they have to run the table, we have to lose one, and the Saints and Rams have to lose one. 

NFL playoff simulators give us a 89% chance of getting the 2 seed.

Saints end the season with Falcons, then Bucs @ home...They aint losing again this regular season (I dont think). Those are division games, but they're en fuego right now.

So it is harder to beat GB with Rodgers than with Hundley?  Yes. But the Vikes should beat GB with either guy at QB. The Vikes are better across the board.
Losing to Carolina was costly because now Carolina and Philly own the tie-breaker against us. Oh well. Losses have consequences. Just win out and we will get the 2 seed at worst.  And all we have to do to win out is beat 2 teams that are not going to the playoffs.  That's something good playoff teams should be able to do. 
There's no need for hand wringing. Just win and get your bye and home field advantage. After all, winning has consequences, too.

There's all kinds of scenarios. I've read that Minnesota can still go 1-1 the last 2 games and as long as LA wins their next 2, Minnesota is the #2 seed. The Vikings are the overwhelming favorites to keep the #2 seed, around 90%. No need for the angst really....I can tell you work around Packer fans, PF....you are as skittish as a baby fawn.

What will be, will be. The actual fun part of it all is so many important games left to be played for the NFC playoff eligible teams.

I'm glad the Vikes still have something to play for.  They aren't about to take the Packers lightly, and the Packers aren't the best team we've faced this year. 

I think our D will be ready for Mr. Rogers, and their D is going to be in trouble stopping the Viking train rolling into Lambeau.  I expect a fun game Saturday night, I mean fun only because we win. B)

I don't care whether one team is 14-0 and the other 0-14, division games are always tough. That said, yes, the Vikings are a much better all-around team than the yellow team, even with Rodgers.

Yah, look at the Giants/Philly yesterday. Two remaining games for us and we should win em both, but winning in Lamblow is never easy and I don't think the Bears will roll over like those cats from Cinci just did. 

That said, the NFC South plays each other quite a bit the last few weeks, so there will be some crazy s hit going on in the bible belt NFC too.
