Mine is D'Angelo Ponds - a dawg who put the bite in the Hoosier D.
I say that acknowledging CB is not a positions in need as much as others - but it's not deep either.
Sometimes you just draft good players who can make a difference on their side of the ball and in the locker room. Their total pkg transcends measurables.

Honestly, no one at 18 is a must have guy or my night is ruined.
At 49, I will also at least strum the table for Ponds. Lee Hunter will have me fist clenched pounding depending on what happens at 18. A couple S prospects would also have me rapping the table loudly.
After that, I’m pounding the table with my shoe for Claiborne or Delp. Probably at 97.
Someone mentioned this is a draft to try to hit doubles. Kinda makes a lot of sense.

That describes me too...I mean unless Downs is sitting there at 15? I'm not holding my breath at 18.

Sticking with the 2nd round, which is where Ponds will go, I'd probably choose Jacob Rodriguez as my top cork popper. Purple shots all around if Caleb Banks drops to 49. Love the middle round receivers Lance, Hurst and Stribling...and the TE Oscar Delp.
He's risky and we won't take him, but Jordyn Tyson is a guy three years from now people are going to be furious at how a playoff team at the end of round one drafted the best WR in this class.

Nick Singleton, who I think may be the most underrated player in the draft, had he not gotten hurt at the Senior Bowl and missed the combine and pro day, think he would be considered one of the top RBs after Love. Has the size, speed and strength to be a big time RB. Total physical freak, 6'0", 220, 435 bench, 665 squat and sub 4.40. He shared time with Allen at Penn State which cut into his stats. Also a great receiver who can line up outside. After Love, by far my favorite RB in the draft.
Jalon Kilgore is another guy who I feel has been under the radar, although it now looks like he is gaining some steam. Possibly one of the best safeties in the class who really brings it. He is also very versatile and can play CB as well.

I don't follow the players enough anymore, but the closest thing I have to a draft crush is Caleb Banks, but I cant really find videos where his downsides are shown. Normally I like to watch the videos where they show every snap in a game for a player but I didn't really see any of those for him, but I think he would wreak havoc in Flores's defense

I think if we miss on safety in the 1st or 2nd, Kilgore would be a good option in the 3rd.
I've probably watched more of Singleton than any other back. As Justin has mentioned before, why he was so effective in 2024 but so ineffective in 2025 is a bit of a mystery. Right now I have five backs ahead of him. Here's what I have on him:
The good: Terrific blend of size and speed. Really good receiver and a pretty good pass blocker too
The bad: Foot surgery. Despite his size, he isn’t a particularly powerful or angry runner. Not a lot of creativity, wiggle or make-ya-miss either.

The one thing going for Singelton during his lackluster senior year was his ability around the goal line. That might be the only aspect to his 25 season that didn’t take a noticeable step back. Maybe he goes the Bobby Moore route and switches positions.

Is he a much faster, less angry David Montgomery?

I should like Banks a lot more than I do. Probably the highest upside of any of the iDL available this year. He could be a Chris Jones/Kevin Williams type guy. Absolutely dominating in the Senior Bowl practices then shut it down as he had nothing more to prove and his foot flared up again. Probably should play closer to 310-315 than 330. His floor is a perennial tease who never consistently plays to his ability.
