Adam Schefter on the market for Anthony Richardson:

“If there was a market for him, the Colts would have traded him"

Probably a lot of truth to that...

I feel bad for the kid...Lots of $$ but he's had a tougher road than even McCarthy has

If there was ever a need for change of scenery? Richardson would be it.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Seems a little hard to believe. 6-4, 240, 4.43 seems like a piece of clay that might be worth a late rounder to see if you could put him on your bench and develop him over a few seasons. If this is true, it's 100% about the bizarre off-field character rumors.

Nope, just really really dumb. And I hate to say that about any young man. He can't grasp the game.

I hadn't heard about either being dumb or bizarre behavior regarding the kid?

How do you not vett that thoroughly for a top 4 pick?

I know its still human beings, but I would think these franchises would have learned to be better at selecting by now???

Well that's kind of what I mean. Issues between the ears. But I think it's more than just being dumb. It's about tapping out of a game, the lack of toughness, the lack of preparation, the mental and physical endurance issues....and whatever that weird orbital fracture was all about.

It isn't IMO. Its the hardest thing to fix, bar none. Unfixable if we are being truthful.

Kind of seems like the worst accuracy in the NFL in the past 25 years may have a little to do with it. Result of multiple issues as mentioned above.

Makes sense that Kwesi wanted to move up for him!

Not having interest in giving up anything (draft capitol) is not the same as having no value. One would have to take his contract with him if he is traded for. Waiting for him to be cut and signing at a near minimum salary are options that may be available down the road.
People sleep peacably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
