Hopefully he doesn't get deported!  Angel

What a sour puss.

He wouldn't for several reasons;
1, wouldn't have illegally entered the U.S.
2, would not commit crimes of violence
3, would not violate terms of his entry
4, would not advocate crimes against the U.S. and it's alies
5, would not support terrorist countries and organizations
People sleep peacably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

You sure this is the standard?

30 years arresting and deporting people, yeah, I'm pretty sure.

and with that.... lets drop the slant....good food is expensive,  more so if you eat out,  nothing really new there.

on another note,  I was wanting wild turkey ( the bird, not the cheap booze) for Easter,  I had over 90 wild turkeys on my land the last month about 75 all winter, at least 14 Toms that would be considered mature.... hell on Friday last I had 5 big Toms strutting on my front lawn while I was away,  season opened Saturday early morning and I see a car came down my road,  turned into a field approach with their lights on the trees that the birds all roosted in,  they got out and walked over and set down below the roosting birds on the edge of a tree claim between my property and my wifes uncles place... needless to say when the sun came up the birds all blew out the opposite direction and get the hell out of dodge,  have only seen 3 birds since in about a 12 square mile area around my place,  and with that 3 months of preparing for my turkey hunt its over.  and there was one with the brightest white tipped fan, nicest bird i have seen around here in about 5 years, nice beard and daggers for spurs.  so my wall is still bare and my freezer sans turkey.  I am hoping it was a dad that didnt know shit about turkey hunting that agreed to take his young kid that blew the hunt, because otherwise I am just pissed that anybody would knowingly do that.

I don't hunt turkeys, but I am in the same situation to a certain degree. I saw turkeys almost daily. Then hunting season began and they disappeared. The hunters came and sat in their pickup not 80 yards from my front door. I guess that is hunting! They hunt deer the same way here in the same place. It's not my land and they can do what they want, but I just don't see how sitting in a pickup waiting for something to emerge from the woods is hunting. They don't even get out of their truck. They just roll the window down and blast them. Some don't even eat the game they shoot! I guess I'm getting old, but it seems kind of shitty to me.

This morning I've got about a dozen outside my dining room window...they've been hanging around since the snow melted down here a month ago.  We've had as many as three dozen spend the winters here, roosting in our big Doug Firs.  Man oh man, that many big birds make a real mess.  On the deck their winter crap is like black octopus ink...gets on your boots and you track it in everywhere (very different in the other seasons).  About 25 years ago I took a Tom during the fall hunting season (our spring season started last weekend), and it was frankly unfulfilling.  They're too tame here.  We have had hunters come down from the county road and ask if they could take one from our pasture and we have politely declined...and they have been very gracious.  I have dead heads hanging from multiple walls...elk and deer mostly, and I no longer have that urge to get out hunting predawn.  Like many things, I have mellowed...and I'd rather enjoy watching them while I enjoy a ribeye on the grill or a smoked brisket.

I find it more fun just trying to get them to come to the call than actually harvesting them.  And yes the crap is quite messy.  Ive got a cattle shed they seemed to like most of the winter,  havent been in there yet to see how much they deposited in there.

We've got the Geese and Swans here...We also have these magnificent Sandy Hill Cranes that walk around and sound like dinosaurs.

My dogs get pretty freaked out with these big asz cranes walking around squawking.

That sucks, Jimmy.  If I'd have known, I coulda sent you some wild turkey.  Shot two nice toms out in South Dakota earlier this spring and took my boys to MN yesterday.  Both filled their tags in the first couple hours with two nice toms.  Since they were done, I decided to go this morning and had a nice tom come running in to my calls and got one myself.  :-)

It's been a fun spring for us.
