Kellen Moore Welcome To The Big Easy

I think the Saints were most probably going QB anyway. Not sure this changes anything. Just wondering what injury happened and when? Not a lot of detail here yet.
$69 mill cap hit for 2026? Ouch.

I see NO trading back up into the first for a QB. Not sure who runs their cap either, but why have they always kicked the can down the road with the cap. It just makes your future awful to manage.

....or the Giants tank and another Manning goes to New York. That's where the NFL would love to see him go. Not sure Arch and his family want that fishbowl, but....

I can see the league wanting him to go to NY. What about Vegas? I have that feeling that the league wouldn't mind that.

I think the Giants would like to either Draft a QB this year or mini-tank for the '26 Draft and pair him with a new head coach, like New England just did.

Russini seems to be getting more like Florio as time goes on. Florio is the king of throwing shit at a wall to see if it sticks, or just flat making things up!
Fishy? They could be right. Guess we will find out soon enough.

I think it is a pretty “fishy” surgery. Not fishy in the sense that it puts any pressure on the Saints to do something for him, but more fishy in the sense that he’s probably got a JJM injury, where you could shut him down, do a better surgery that offers him better long term outlooks or you could do something minor or play through it.

I think it’s pretty clear that the Saints are in a multiyear rebuild. Carr playing or not playing probably doesn’t affect their outlook that much, he’s probably not their future and they probably would have moved on already if they could afford to. Why sacrifice his future for a team that he’s not going to be a part of? Do things right and set up his future for a stronger finish on the end of his career.
