It is funny, so much Viking news going on now that it is almost impossible to keep up with it!  Yet VH participants choose to ignore all this breaking news and make non-football posts.  How dare they, why they outa turn in their Viking memorabilia and hang their head in shame...    (tongue firmly in cheek)

I think it’s hilarious that you consider the right the lunatic fringe at this point in time.  You may want to look in the mirror.  I’ll take the accuracy of the gateway pundit over cnn and msnbc every day of the week.  At least they know who they are.  Joy Reid and company still have no clue that they’re more racist than the people they try to label.

You and I both know there are lunatic fringe and moderates to both sides...Problem is when the primary mouthpiece of left or right comes from the fringe. 

As far as the media goes, imo they are the enemy of the people. I dont care what side of the aisle you're on or whether you quote CNN, NBC, Gateway Pundit or Newsmax. They have agendas that transcend reporting an event factually. 

As far as the The VH goes, it's been a toxic and non-welcoming site for years. It's just an echo chamber of some who still choose to pray at the altar of Sid Powell and Jen Ellis - and swirl on it daily.

To be honest, I’m not getting much “moderate” leftist views coming across my social media. Leftists I know are either completely silent or full balls to the wall conspiracy theories. Regardless, I think StickierBuns original take of “Some of these threads are mind-blowing” isn’t one that has much support anymore. There’s very few heads-in-the-sand normies left out there calling everyone pointing fingers at problems crazy conspiracy theorists. Everyone knows that the government is massively corrupt. I think there’s a vocal few that are still under the guise that their preferred party is good and it’s just the others that are face-meltingly evil. The left is lagging far behind in acknowledging their parties participation in the corruption. The MAGA right is much further along in that understanding. I think the silence of most people is deafening, as they come to grips with just how bad things are, but are unsure of how we get from here to somewhere better. But the era of calling conspiracy theorists crazy is dead and over. We’re know just trying to sort through all the disinformation to figure out what is real and factual.

Only if you mean that they're very aware of their own corruption, because they're flaunting it wildly. Today, it's backpedaling on $400 Million for armored vehicles that was initially just earmarked for Tesla; that changed quickly when it got widely noticed. Add the investigations against Elon and his government contracted companies which have already started disappearing, and it appears that the world's richest man is after power; money has already been conquered.

Time magazine's cover looks more prophetic by the day.

The bottom line here is that people don’t seem to understand the function of government. It’s not designed to be efficient, it’s designed to protect and serve as a reflection of values of the republic. 

Is government over weight?  I think most would say yes, but in these times of disinformation and political extremism, it seems toxic overreach and trampling the boundaries of the law is en vogue, not reasonable discourse and compromise.
