I think Dallas Turner is about to be a Falcon. Would love Murphy at 23.

11: Michael Penix
23: Byron Murphy

the correct answer will likely be "other than above"
People sleep peacably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Whatever direction they go, rest assured there will be disgruntled fans shouting from the mountain tops....

Go get Maye!

If we do what Savannah suggests and "roll with Sam," I think in many ways that's the riskiest option of all for KAM. If the Vikes do that and Darnold stinks, which every armchair QB on earth could have at least partially seen coming, Kwesi's seat will be hotter than fish grease. Especially if more than a couple of these rookie QBs pan out.

IMO, I think we've covered all scenarios on this board over the course of the last 30+ days. Usually, but not always, the Draft turns out to be a lot less dramatic than the mocks might have you believe. But there are a lot of QBs that have talent this year, maybe as many as 6 that will go in the top probably 45 picks. Some of these mocks that have 6 QBs going in the top 15 picks are silly, JMO.

Yah, its all been discussed, I'm glad its next week - finally.

I'm still not convinced all 6 of these guys dont go b4 the first rd is over. I think one of the reasons there is so much QB talent (on paper) in this draft is due to Covid a couple years back.

Its a bit unusual in that regard.

We haven't been this close to drafting a potential franchise QB for a long, long time. It's time to pull the trigger on one of the better classes of QBs. If they are high on Daniels or Maye, they have to take a shot. I chose Maye at 3 but it could just as easily be Daniels at 3, whichever they like. If they like Penix or Nix better, I will trust their judgment as they keep more draft assets.

I struggle to have a preference, as I just don’t follow the prospects in the draft anymore to really develop an affinity towards players or rank them accurately in tiers. Statistically, I think they are better off minimizing the amount of draft capital spent in getting a QB and instead spend more draft capital in getting multiple swings at a QB, so I feel like I’m kind of limited to JJM, Nix, and Penix either at 11 or with a moderate trade up. I just don’t really believe that any GM can predict accurately enough who will succeed and who will bust, so I think they’re better off taking more shots more frequently. If they believe in JJM more than the others and only use 11 and 23 and maybe a late round pick swap to get him, that’s about where my comfort level ends.
