Aaron Donald... WTF dude!

I hadnt seen this until now...  that would really hurt the Rams chances of defending their ring to lose him for 6 games in what will be likely a very tight NFC west race.

NFL World Calling for Major Punishment for Aaron Donald (msn.com)
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

I'm not sure I've heard of the NFL issuing fines or suspensions for fights at practices.  Individual teams may fine or suspend players for disciplinary reasons, but I'm not sure about the NFL stepping in unless it's an actual game.

Not sure the league can based on the CBA which sucks because he should be suspended.

I think the team will have to do something, if the PR stink gets bad enough.  Some action certainly seems warranted, but context would be nice....

I don't think context applies when you're hitting dudes with a helmet.  Throw a punch, push someone, don't use a hard object like a deadly weapon.

I said the same thing about the Myles Garrett situation...  Don't care if Mason called you the worst racial slurs in the world (which multiple people said he didn't that were within hearing distance), you don't rip someone's helmet off and then start beating someone with it.

Context?  He hit another player by swinging a helmet.  There is no context needed.

OOPS....

Before the festivities kicked off, Rams head coach Sean McVay shared his hope for the practices.
"The goal is really to get good work in, positively push one another. We don’t want any cheap stuff," he said. "We have no place for fighting. We have to be able to get two good days of work. These opportunities really matter, and we can’t afford to miss it for dumb (expletive). We won’t have it. I don’t expect that and I know Zac are very much aligned.”
